fandomhigh as usual for consistency, however, detention activites are occurring in town at the Town Hall.]

Lorelai is waiting in the foyer of the town hall promptly at 8am. She's looking longingly at the coffee and doughnuts spread that Luke thoughtfully provided while sipping her herbal tea and eating a banana.

She checks names off a clipboard as people arrive.

"Okay gang. This detention can be as easy or as hard as you make it," she says once everyone has arrived. "If you put a little effort in to getting the work done, you can be out of here in more than enough time to enjoy the prom. If you don't, well, you're only hurting yourself."

"Fire? Did someone say fire?" Bel said. Now this could be fun.

"Hey Bel," Callisto came back into the hall just in time to hear that. "Yeah, the torches are all ready to go."

Bel conjured a small fireball in his hand. "This won't take long," he said to Callisto, grinning.

Callisto snickered. "I hope you don't say that to all the girls."

"No, just you," Bel shot back.

"Well, yes, I am just that good," Callisto grinned.

"I'll have to ask Veronica about that," Bel said. "You two looked like you were really getting into that kiss the other day."

"It was fun," Callisto shrugged. "Is this my cue to point out we weren't the only two enjoying ourselves?"

"Yeah, you were pretty busy that afternoon," Bel said, trying to dodge the comment.

"When you've got it, you've got it," Callisto said. "And Bel, there's video evidence of the boykissy."

"No there isn't," Bel said nervously.

"Bel, there were numerous boykissy loving girls who own cameras there. Video evidence is a foregone conclusion."

Bel tried to regain his composure. "Well, at least it wasn't like I was kissing Logan or something," he said.

Yes, he did do that deliberately.

Callisto eye might have started twitching, just a little. "Pity that, you'd make a nice pair."

Bel made a face. "I don't think so. For one, we kinda hate each other. For another, he's...Logan. Ugh."

"Sometimes, what seems like hate, is really denial," Callisto said.

"I do remember that from the days of finding you and Angelus making out in the closet," Bel said, "but in this case, no. No wonder Logan's single. No one can stand him for long."
