Something odd was happening on the island, that much had been made clear when some people weren't quite themselves yesterday and when other people had simply appeared today causing trouble.

One person had notably disappeared (at least it was notable to Belle that Five couldn't be found) but she was trying not to worry about that at the moment. He could certainly take care of himself.

At least it wasn't snowing in the library like it was outdoors and the library had helpfully provided plenty of extra chairs and tables to research at in case anyone happened to come in for that purpose today.

Oh, sure, Amaya was definitely in eveningwear! In that it was evening, and she was wearing it. Ha!

Amaya had also, at some point, had a very shaken Graham hurrying into her shop at some point, looking for weapons to defend himself from someone he claimed wanting to seek revenge on him for turning someone into a ca-- into a something. Even after she got him calmed down, he wasn't making a whole lot of sense, but it was enough that she promised go help and look into it.

....it was that time of year, after all, and as she found her way to the library, it didn't take her long go feel like maybe she was on to something, after all.

"Ahh, zards," she sighed, shaking her head, "what do we suppose it is this time?"
