Non-Deadly Heroics, Monday, Period Two
"So there's a highly overlooked option for not dying heroically, which is not to become a hero at all," Aphra informed the class cheerfully. "This doesn't mean you can't also do things that others people might consider heroic, but certain kinds of trouble are less likely to try and kill you if you don't go around calling yourself a hero."
"Plus alternate careers can be both more profitable and even more exciting," Isabela added. "Like being a pirate!"
Which would explain why class was being held on The Siren's Call today. Guess it was time to play at pirates.

He was just going to do his best to keep to tasks that didn't require getting too close to the sides of the ship, just in case.

Graham himself probably wasn't about to win any accolades for his voice, but that showmanship more than made up for it.
Re: Pirate! - NDH 04
She was grinning from ear to ear, both from the fun of the song and for being able to share something else with Graham. And oh was she dying to sketch a quick little 'mine' charm on him. Not that anyone else would be able to see it - unless the Aunties made it here for Parent's Weekend.

[OOC: Do you mind if Charlie sketches a little invisible 'mine' on Graham? Won't affect him in any way.]
Re: Pirate! - NDH 04
He laughed a little bit, throwing in a jaunty expression that was almost a wink, but not quite there. "I usually have plenty in my pockets!"
[[ not at all! Sketch/charm away! ]]
Re: Pirate! - NDH 04
She couldn't resist. She leaned in a little closer and sketched a charm on his forehead. Mine. "Got a stray hair there. All good now."
Re: Pirate! - NDH 04
"Ah," he said, nodding a little at the explanation, although he should think his cap would prevent too much of that. "Must be these strong salty sea breezes..."
That, he might feel compelled to point out, was surely the reason for the sudden ruddiness that had sprung up across his cheeks just now, too, and he gave Charlie a thumbs up.
"Good looking out, though!"

But, since he most certainly was, he could only preen proudly in fond agreement. "They are pretty great pockets," he noted, "it's true."
Re: Pirate! - NDH 04
"It almost makes me want a cloak of my own," Charlie said, "But I couldn't carry it off half as well."

Re: Pirate! - NDH 04
It was actually rather fun.
Re: Pirate! - NDH 04
She would keep her feet on the deck while exploring the ship. For now. Perhaps the shoes would come off and she'd be climbing eventually.
