Why did the entire island smell a bit like chocolate pudding? It was probably nothing, right?

"Welcome to our final team-building exercise today!" Anakin yelled through his megaphone. "It's based on a series of obstacle courses called a Tough Mudder, but mud is too easy!"

...that would explain the pudding smell.

"Working in teams of seven, you will race around the island, conquering each obstacle! McGarrett, stop looking so excited about this. Listen for your names! NO POWERS."

There was probably a very good reason their team was losing this round.

There were probably several reasons directly related to them that their team was going to do poorly overall, let's be real.

"Yeah, they're pretty sore," Vi said. "Probably need a good rubbing down later."

"Works for me," Steph said as if that had ever really been in doubt, and patted the punching bag behind her. "Let's do this thing, then."

Vi settled in behind Steph, far closer than she'd sat to Lana. "You saw how we did it before, right?"

Surely this wasn't going to prove distracting in any way.

"I was mostly paying attention to you," Steph said with no shame whatsoever, "but I think I have the idea."

She reached up to get a hold of the rope and gave it a light tug to get a feel for the tension, then rattled off in the exact same way as she would when starting a song, "A-one-two-three --"
