Today was hot and humid, which meant that it was the perfect temperature for all of the water balloon-themed games Anakin had set out in the park today.

(Most of them were filled with water and that's all that matters, right?)

"As usual, you will be working in teams," Anakin shouted through his megaphone. "There are various stations for you to attempt! The most accurate team wins!"

Did anyone even care about winning these days?

"Listen for your names!"

"Weekend was exhausting, but fucking amazing," Steph replied, "and class came out pretty well. People got super creative with their characters, and I always love when that happens."

"It was a good weekend," Stark agreed with a faint smile. "I enjoyed it. Are you recovered from being exhausted?"

"I'm fine, yeah," Steph assured him, right before her smile turned sly. "How'd those parade route seats work out for you?"

"I enjoyed the parade," Stark said, very innocently. "It was Summer's birthday so I talked to her for a bit. I brought her brownies. Pink ones. And then I sat with Travis after that."

"In other words, you made excellent choices," Steph decided, still smirking.

Stark ducked his head a little at that smirk.

"Summer liked her brownies. And it's always good to see both of them. Travis said he might come to the bar tonight."

Then Stark could see them both again!

"Is this a 'congratulations are in order' thing?" Steph asked.

"No?" Stark said as he shook his head slightly. "Nothing to congratulate anyone for. It's just... good to see friends."

One friend he'd hooked up with during pollen once and one he'd made out with at a wedding recently even though he shouldn't have. Just friends!
