"Today, since it's between sessions, Beaker has decided to take point," Anakin announced from where his bullhorn was poking out from an absolutely enormous pile of donuts.

The new raccoons had apparently decided to show up today to get new customers through their amazing donuts...tower...things.

So. There were a lot of donuts.

Just. A lot.

"Today we're going to use these donuts--thank you, County Donuts--in a relay race...thing. You can only pass them under your chin. Fortunately, we have a lot of extras for when you drop them!"

He turned to Beaker. "Are there any other rules?"

Beaker meeped extensively. Anakin's eyes went wide. "Well, that's going to get messy."

"Meep meep."

Anakin coughed. "Apparently the donuts are also on a timer and they will disintegrate into sprinkles--or jelly, or cream--if you take too long."

Thank you, Muppet physics.

"Listen for your names! There will be four teams of seven."

Beaker meeped smugly.

Anakin sighed. "And I, apparently, have been included. Come get your t-shirts."

Well, that was intriguing.

"Good alcoholic or bad alcoholic?" Nobody tasted like malort today, did they?

"Let me see." Public licking was a bit much but she had licked him first. It was only fair that he took a turn and look, he could just turn that lick by her mouth into a kiss.

"Coffee?"

"Boozy coffee?" Faye supplied, maybe a little breathless from the kiss. Look, public licking was something that could be passed off as a joke; public kissing was the kind of thing that made her all heart-eyed if she didn't watch it. "I'm not sure. But I like it. It goes well with the chocolate."

That was kind of cute.

Stark would be happy to switch to less public kissing to further investigate that boozy coffee flavor if that would help?

"It does," Stark agreed, darting his tongue out to lick his lips. "Goes very well together. I like it."

Yes, that would definitely need to be on the table for later, please. Particularly given the way she was watching him.

"I do too," Faye admitted, licking her own lips thoughtfully. "Like...alcoholic, chocolate coffee."

And on her own she was kind of bitter and a lot to take, and wow, this was a whole theme, wasn't it?

"Alcoholic chocolate coffee sounds good too." Maybe one of the bars could make it?

"But why are we flavored? And why am I so chocolate?"

Death by Chocolate Cake flavoring was a bit on the nose for Stark but sometimes the island was just like that.

"There are worse things to taste like," Faye assured him, because she was imaginative and was sure that both Anakin and Miguel were both probably flavored like day-old fish or overboiled brussels sprouts. "Who knows why we're flavored? This is my favorite thing since the pollen."

Which really seemed like another cue for more kissing, if you asked Faye. Like, she liked kissing when there wasn't flavor-related chaos going on.

Oh, Anakin absolutely tasted like something terrible. Maybe like one of Summer's especially terrible jello concoctions! But neither one of them was going to be licking Anakin any time soon.

And yes, this was an excellent time for more kisses.

"This is good." Not as good as the pollen. But that had been a very good week, eventually. "I don't remember this from before."

"A new weird thing?" Faye as intrigued. "And here I've been warned about so many other things I've been dreading. I never thought I'd get to see something fun happen for the very first time."

Though she was also interested in this thing where she might turn into a man at some point. That sounded sort of fun.

"I might have just missed it. I was gone for a while. Gone a few times. But I'd remember being chocolate flavored, I think. Unless I just didn't know?"

There hadn't been anyone around to tell him he tasted like chocolate, anyway.

He would also be quite interested in what Faye might look like as a man. She'd already briefly seen him as a woman. It was only fair!
