"Today we'll do something slightly less physical," Anakin announced through his bullhorn, "though really, if you think about it, it could get a little physical."

That boded well.

"This week, teams do not get t-shirts--" Things were looking up! "--because you may use the fabric from them--and from all the other shirts and socks--to create fashion!"

And no one knew fashion like a guy who'd been wearing a robe for the better part of 40 years.

Beaker meeped next to him. "Right," Anakin added because this part was important. "Fashion for gremlins! It will be entertaining. Your gremlin will need something to cover their body as well as some sort of hat! You will work in teams of four! Try not to get bitten!"

He waved them towards tables full of ~~moddable~~ materials: fabric, lace, twine, buttons, zippers, old macramé gremlin outfits...

Get snacks! Wonder what fresh hell Anakin has cooked up today! Or recycled hell. He can't come up with a fresh hell every summer for three years, right?

When Sakaki didn't hear her name called out, she was a little disappointed....until she realized those scary ugly things were what they were supposed to be making clothes for!

She probably dodged a bullet with this one.

And so did her potential teammates, should anyone have left sewing to her.

Still, she was interested to watch, and hoped someone came up with some really cute and adorable...

...as adorable as could be, anyway, given the circumstances.

Well. At least there aren't ugly shirts today?

Stark had already dealt with squirrels and their glitter this morning (and any fashion he helped with today was going to have some secondhand sparkles). Now there had to be gremlins?

"This doesn't seem wise," he said, shaking his head as he walked over.

It had been stupidly optimistic to think she could show up for two weeks in a row and not get called for this.

"Why do they need clothes now?" she complained as she headed down. "It's summer. A time for less clothes."

To be fair, it's not like Faye wore a lot in the winter, either.

Well.

At least Lydia had a little experience with making her own clothes. Not that she was any kind of a seamstress, but please. You didn't wear this much black crepe without knowing your way around how to use some pins.

By now Belle was realizing that coming out at this time of day often led to being involved in these absurd activities. That wasn't stopping her. It was something like an adventure and it always, at the very least, an interesting way to spend some time.

"Do they want clothes?"

You get some time to make outfits until your models ~~are released from their cages~~ arrive! Make it work, people. Make it work.

"Whatever we make," Summer suggested, "I propose we start with a muzzle."

She knew how these things could go!

Okay, weird, but at least it shouldn't be too physically taxing. "I mean, I can hold the thing still once we've got the clothes ready."

Not actually touching it, of course. She wasn't insane.

There are no winners this week because fashion is subjective and honestly, who thinks anyone is actually going to complete this challenge? The true winners were the people not chosen to participate, really.

This was one of my favorites from a few years back.
