Xander is... not wearing a toga. And is kind of watching the movie. A little? Sort of. Maybe. Every so often.

Bridge isn't wearing a toga either, but we've already established that.

"Hi!" he says, looking over at Xander.

"Hey." Xander looks away from the movie, which, wonder of wonders, he was actually paying attention to for a second there.

The associative properties of the human brain can be a little annoying at times, though. "That was, um. Weird. Last night. With Parker."

"Kind of, yeah." Bridge says, tilting his head.

"I mean, I probably only have myself to blame for her getting hold of the talent show thing, since I'm the one who told her about it happening in the first place," Xander says, making, well, this face: $:-\$

"But the rest of it?" He shrugs a little awkwardly.

"Yeah, um... Easter date?" Bridge says. "Was that the... pencilled in the datebook thing?"

"Pretty much, yeah. Which..." Xander spreads his hands. "I was under the impression was a running gag? But then Parker had her 'yay boyfriend' bouncefest and I teased her about the Easter thing, and she went all 'woe, vaguely guilty, was serious.' "

"Ohhhh," Bridge says, "so the tape- thing, was, like, a revenge-y thing? Or something?"

"I'm, uh... still trying to follow the logic train on that one myself?" Again with the $:-\$ . "I think she was punishing me for there being something, somewhere on this campus that she was not aware of, to whit--" and there are airquotes, but they're kind of shruggy. "Stuff?"

"Girls are weird."

"Especially girls with, um. Apparent frustration issues and no apparent sense of TMI?"

"Yeah, that was, um, way more than I needed to know. Which... hence the expression 'TMI' I guess."

"Though I guess that kinda explains why she thought I should be telling her--"

Xander blinks.

"Anakin's dressed as Zorro."

"...still?" Bridge asks, and glances over. Huh. Yup. Still dressed as Zorro.

"Still? He's been walking around like that all day, I take it?"

"Yeah," Bridge nods. "He n' Cam came to ACJ all dressed in costumes today."

"Oh, is it superhero day again?"

"That's my guess," Bridge says. "Though I still wanna know why everyone seems to be, like, obsessed with people in uniform." He pouts. "I mean, *I* wear a uniform practically every day and nobody says anything."

Xander scratches his head. "Could be because you wear a uniform practically every day? I mean, the Zorro thing is only attention-getting because it's weird."

"Constable Fraser wears *his* uniform every day, and people stare at *him*." Bridge points out.

Xander scratches his head again, but this time it's one of those headscratches, where you're totally trying not to give an answer that involves you eating your own ankle with barbecue sauce, and knowing in advance that you're going to be chowing down any time now, despite your best efforts.

"I... don't think it's really the uniform, there?"

Bridge just frowns and slumps down in his seat a little.

Xander shows a sudden intense interest in the movie screen. Though this doesn't actually stop him from talking. Or rather, coughing, then talking. Quietly.

"I could point out that, uh, some people stare at you. When you're not in uniform, even."

Bridge looks back up and over at Xander, and smiles shyly.

"Granted some people apparently need your uniform to dissolve before they realize they're supposed to be staring," Xander adds, still not really looking directly back, but grinning slightly himself.
