Detention, April 8th, 9:00 AM
The Danger Shop was set up like a very large childcare center today with The Tick standing in the middle of the room. "Hello, students!" he said when the students entered the shop. "Come over here and sit in a circle!"
He passed around the sign-in sheet, with the following names on it:
Angel
Callisto
Samantha Carter
John Crichton
Alphonse Elric
"Today, you'll be learning about responsibility in one of the most trying ways there is. Today, you'll be watching children! The kids themselves are just Danger Shop holograms, so they can't actually be hurt or anything, but you should still treat them as you would a real child. You're responsible for their fake well-being and you shouldn't expect me to bail you out if you have trouble. Please remember, they outnumber you. The simulation will end at 5:00 PM FHT. Okay, bring on the kids!"
Another list appeared. This list was of the children who would be here today.
Billy
Boo
Jamie
Mindy
Ralph
Stewie
Vendetta
[OOC: In the shop is pretty much everything you might need in a typical childcare facility. Toys, books, bits of electronic that could be fashioned into a laser gun laying around in some drawers... The usual. You can leave as early as 5:00 EST, but feel free to play past that if you're having fun.
The activities listed are guidelines the students should work toward. The children... well, they'll do what they'll do. Hopefully it'll all go together smoothly and we won't have someone fingerpainting during naptime. Right. Becuase what we want is for this to be easy. Sure.
That all said, this will be very hands off for me. Jump in, play, and try not to kill each other.
I have to be in the office for a couple hours, so if you need me, ping me via e-mail.]

Re: Sign-In
"I don't know about this Mike," says a voice from the closet. "Boo doesn't know anybody there. She might get scared."
A small, round, green monster with one eye walks out of the closet and looks around. "What are you talking about Sulley. This place is great! Look," he points around the room. "They have toys and coloring things and other kids to play with." He spots The Tick. "They even have a guy dressed in blue spandex. Everything Boo will need. Bring her out, Sulley."
The large blue and purple monster reemerges from the closet carrying a small girl in his arms. He sets her down on the floor and straightens her shirt. "Now Boo, you be a good girl today. Play nice with the other kids and at least try to sleep during nap time, okay?"
The little girl giggles and holds her arms up to the big monster. "Kitty!"
The big monster picks her up again and hugs her. He gives the other monster a worried look over the little girl's shoulder.
The small green monster makes a big show of checking a nonexistent watch. "You need to put her down again, Sulley. We're running late as it is."
The big monster puts the girl down again and gives her a small pat on the head before slowly backing up into the closet. The small monster follows, shoving the big monster to make him go faster. "Bye, Boo. See you later. Have fun playing with the other kids."
The little girl giggles as the closet door shuts behind the two monsters. She waits, expectantly, in front of the door for a moment before walking up to the door and opening it. "Boo!" she shouts, but the closet interior has returned to a standard supply closet.
Closing the door again, the little girl's chin starts to wibble and her eyes well with tears. She sits down on the floor in front of the closet and begins to ball. "Kitty!" she cries loudly. It isn't long before her wailing has reached an ear piercing level.

"Billy, your mother and I need to go see the therapist about her hallucinations. We'll be back later."
"But Daaaaaad! Can't I stay with Mandy?"
"Son, you know that Mandy is currently ruling a small alien planet. You'll just have to stay here today."
The boy pouts mightily before forgetting that he's annoyed. He then runs off looking for something to do.
