"Good morning, everyone!" Anakin yelled through his megaphone. There were four inflatable kiddie pools spread throughout the area with folding chairs around them. "Today we will be Toe Fishing!"

Beaker made extremely alarmed meeping sounds.

"With your toes, not for toes," Anakin explained quickly. "Each pool has objects sunk to the bottom! Whichever team recovers them all in the fastest time wins! You may only use your toes, so hopefully everyone has those."

He didn't know your lives, okay.

"Listen for your names and come get your t-shirts!"

"I spend a lot of time barefoot in the water." Duke shrugged. "Depending on where you are, that's almost the same thing."

Steve's face showed that he didn't see how that could be the same thing, but the spirit of competition was pathological strong in him and he couldn't let Duke be better at this than he was.

In went his feet into the pool, searching for something to grab.

Duke found a squishy tube thing and immediately wished he hadn't.

"Okay, this got weird again."

He looked down. "He didn't put jellyfish here, right?"

"It seems almost suspiciously simple," Astrid offered with a faint smile, failing once again to keep her hair tucked behind her ear as she looked down into the water and felt around the bottom with her foot.

The catch was the various things they were given to fish for.

"Maybe there's a twist at the end," said Astrid, who sounded perfectly fine with there not being a twist at the end, but she did look up a moment to look around for any sort of potential Beaker-flinging devices.

"I refuse to touch a fish," Alexis announces. "If they're not part of a pedicure I don't want it."

"What if they're in sushi after?" Steve bribed. "I'll get you a gift certificate and you can take your little friends."

Steve: killin' it with teenagers. Truly.

"No one uses gift certificates anymore," Alexis pointed out. "Besides, the sushi here is substandard. I have a preferred chef."
