"Good morning, everyone!" Anakin yelled through his megaphone. There were four inflatable kiddie pools spread throughout the area with folding chairs around them. "Today we will be Toe Fishing!"

Beaker made extremely alarmed meeping sounds.

"With your toes, not for toes," Anakin explained quickly. "Each pool has objects sunk to the bottom! Whichever team recovers them all in the fastest time wins! You may only use your toes, so hopefully everyone has those."

He didn't know your lives, okay.

"Listen for your names and come get your t-shirts!"

There are 20 different (moddable) objects in each pool of various sizes and textures--but it definitely includes two live, actual goldfish in each pool. Everything else is moddable. Go nuts!

RNG says the winning order goes:

Here was Kitty, trying to phase until it was time to grab something with her toes, which was half working.

It worked really well in getting a goldfish by accident.

"This is weird! Ohhhh this is weird!"

"Try stepping on the fish and pinning it and then getting it with your toes," Barry advised, he said his faced screwed up in concentration.

And a second later.

"Got one."

Barry stood in the pool with his bare feet. Looking down at the fish he was really wishing his buddy Roxie the former Sasquatch was here right now to capture fish with her giant feet.

Still...

He waited patiently to strike with this toes. Maybe he could pin a fish to the bottom of the pool and then grab it with his toes?

"So," said Summer, oh-so-idly as she started to regret her decision to try and go after fishing out a small bell-shaped object, "you're that Barry guy."

She'd noticed that jawline him at at least one of thses, and it would be a shame not to take the chance to introduce herself now they they were on the same team, standing in the same pool and everything...

"This?" said Summer, with a faint grin as she was glad her default outfit involved cropped pants and seemed to have not too much trouble hooking a star-shaped object with her toes and pulling it out of the water. "Is not actually that bad!"

Who knew her toes were this flexible? Because she hadn't!

Just be glad, fellow Ray of Lime Juicers, that Amaya got her feet in that pool quickly, because this was a woman wearing thick leather boots in the middle of summer.

Which was why she was just going to enjoy the water on her toes for a moment before getting started.

And realizing the moment that first fish hit her that she was apparently a little ticklish...so that would be fun.

Freya had claws on her toes, which might make getting the fish easier if Mae hadn't already claimed them, and now she was wondering if those claws were going to be more of a help or a harm in getting the other objects.

Maybe.if she worked on finding the squishies ones?

Hopefully, Shunsui's very lovely teammates didn't mind pulling most of the weight on this one. Sure, he's hitched up his robes and slipped off his geta, and made marginal appearances to at least seem like he was trying every once in a while, but all his attention would be mostly devoted to watching if certain competitors happened to lose their balance while in the pools...
