Time Management- Monday- 3rd period

"So last week didn't go the way I thought," Jaye admitted when class started. "I got your excuses about getting out of class, said you're get a ditch day, and I kind of figured no one would show up. That's on me. But it means we're going to work on excuses again.

"We're going to watch a boring educational film about puberty from the 60s," she said. "Your job is to give me a reason as to why you need to leave class suddenly. If it's believable, you get to leave early, hopefully before we get to what served as an old timey explanation of menstruation."

Eleanor looked at Jaye dead in the eye... and then in a full panic stuffed the note in her mouth.

"For the record I'm eating this out of protection of my religious freedom."

Or at least that's what she tried to say with her mouth full.

"I'm gonna day I did not see that coming," Jaye admitted, eyes wide. "Back to the drawing board."

"You may force me to watch old films," Eleanor declared with her mouth full but in a tone that would make William Wallace proud. "But you will never take away my freedom!"

And then humming the Battle Hymn of the Republic, headed toward the door.
