Advanced Criminal Justice, Class 24, Period 1, 04.06.06
[OOC: Projects can be presented as late as Tuesday, so take some time and have some fun if you want. Don't forget to wear hats for EC. If you'd like, the shop can probably generate a hat for you. And what follows is probably the shortest main body to a class post I've ever written. Class Info Post.]
"Welcome to the Danger Shop, class! Today are your presentations. When it's your turn, please get up, present your theory, and do whatever it is you're going to do with the shop! I can't wait to see what everyone came up with!"

Re: Group 6: Bridge/Sam [Class 24]
"So, we ready to start?" he asks with a grin.
Re: Group 6: Bridge/Sam [Class 24]
She looked at Professor Tick, then at the class. "Our theory is that people seeking to defeat evil are more effective working together as a team than as a group of individuals who haven't trained together."

"Well, okay, technically, they're *actually* out looking for an intergalactic criminal mastermind. He's managed to stay one step ahead of our team so far, but they're finally closing in..."
Re: Group 6: Bridge/Sam [Class 24]
Dr. Levant bent down to study them more closely and stated, "These dinosaurs should be harmless, Grell. Look how they're based on herbivores? You can tell by the shape of their mouths and teeth."
One promptly bit him in the nose, and another on the foot. "Ow." He started hopping as he tried to shake them loose, and fell over very shortly thereafter. Within minutes, he was covered in the dinosaurs.
Re: Group 6: Bridge/Sam [Class 24]
"You have quite the talent for understatement, Sen," Jasmine remarked, rolling up her sleeves. "Well, I suppose there's really only one thing to do now." She looked at Grell. "If they think this is going to be an easy fight, well, they've got another think coming, don't they?"
Re: Group 6: Bridge/Sam [Class 24]
poutingglaring hostilely at the little creatures. He looked at Senichi. "So they've been altered genetically to be aggressive. I think what we need here is a distraction, or some kind of plan."
Sam paused the program. "As you can see, on his own, Dr. Levant is possibly a danger to himself and others, but without him being there, there would be no one to
state the obviousprovide background information." She pressed play again.Re: Group 6: Bridge/Sam [Class 24]
Luckily, there was a small stream nearby. Senichi pulled a small pail from his pack and went over to the stream to fill the pail, kicking at robot dinosaurs as he did so.
Once the pail was full, he threw it at the dinosaurs. The water managed to drench most of them, causing them to short-circuit. Water and circuitry? Don't mix.
With most of their attackers taken care of, Jasmine takes out several pairs of tiny-robot-sized handcuffs and manages to subdue the remaining robots.
"See!" Senichi grinned. "And you guys told me packing a pail was a silly idea!"
Re: Group 6: Bridge/Sam [Class 24]
Grell crouched down and read footprints in the dirt, then pointed towards a small cave. "The dinosaur tracks are coming from that direction, Doctor Levant. I believe that is where we will find their creator."
Re: Group 6: Bridge/Sam [Class 24]
The others followed Grell until they reached the mouth of the cave.
"Any suggestions about what to do now?" Jasmine asked. Senichi opened his mouth to say something. "...that don't involve explosives?" Senichi closed his mouth and pouted.
Re: Group 6: Bridge/Sam [Class 24]
"Right," Dr. Levant said, peeking into the cave. "It looks like there's a central command console."
Grell looked at Jasmine, then inside, over Dr. Levant's shoulder. "There are four guards and numerous robotic creatures. Including a large alien dinosaur. Hoban is within, and seems unaware. Now is the time to strike."
Re: Group 6: Bridge/Sam [Class 24]
Re: Group 6: Bridge/Sam [Class 24]
"Hello," he called to the guards. "How're things with you guys? Still evil?"
Re: Group 6: Bridge/Sam [Class 24]
"You might as well surrender, Hoban," Jasmine said. "We've defeated your army and we have you surrounded."

Re: Group 6: Bridge/Sam [Class 24]
Grell took a few steps into the room, glared at the minions, and then beat them down with his staff weapon. Within minutes, only Hoban was standing, his finger on the button. "If you don't let me go, I'll bring this whole mountain down on our heads!"
Re: Group 6: Bridge/Sam [Class 24]
"Nice try. But I'm afraid you're coming with us."
Re: Group 6: Bridge/Sam [Class 24]
"You are officially under arrest for crimes against humanity. You have the right to remain silent, and I suggest you use it. Anything you say can and will be used against you in both court and the press. If you cannot afford a lawyer, one will be appointed to you. Do you understand?"
Hoban remained mute. Grell shoved him forward, and he stumbled, then glared at the alien in his too-bright fatigues. "Fine, I understand."
Senichi took up a position slightly behind Hoban to make sure he didn't escape.
