Advanced Criminal Justice, Class 24, Period 1, 04.06.06

[OOC: Projects can be presented as late as Tuesday, so take some time and have some fun if you want. Don't forget to wear hats for EC. If you'd like, the shop can probably generate a hat for you. And what follows is probably the shortest main body to a class post I've ever written. Class Info Post.]

Destiny, higher powers, and choices!

It's 4:00 AM as I'm writing this and I can't think of anything to say!

Okay, slightly before 4:00 AM. I'll be sleeping again by 4:00. I try to write class early!

Darwin, Karma, Vending Machines of Justice, getting squished, and possibly a mopey Jedi!

The degree to which you use the shop to do wacky stuff is, of course, totally up to you. Just have some fun.

Also, a big thanks to you guys. Things have been very hectic the past few weeks and you've really picked up my slack to keep ACJ nice and busy interaction-wise. I'll try to take the burden back off you a bit for the rest of the semester, but we'll see how it goes.

Cameron's early for class, possibly because he's excited about the smurfy project Archie and him will be setting up..

Cameron's paying attention to the other projects. Really. He's also slightly nervous about Aeryn and Jaye's for some mysterious reason. Spidey-senses?

Justice is like the bumper stickers on the car of society. When there's only one, it catches the attention of the driver behind you and it's easy to get the message. When there's a whole lot of them, you need to put little arrows on them so you know in what order to read them. If you don't, the other drivers will get confused about what to read first, forget all about the road and drive right into you.

"Hello, Cameron!" Tick said as Cam walked in. "Err, could I speak with you for a moment?"

Cameron nodded, wondering if something was up with the project. "Yes, sir."

Aeryn has no idea what a bumper sticker is. Yes, still. Look, she's been busy.

So she makes something up.

Justice is like a bumper sticker, a protective material that sticks to another protective material to add much more protection.

It's not quite right... But not a horrible try...

"I'm a little concerned about your project," Tick said. "I'm not usually one to tell people not to say something, but your theory had the most gratuitous use of the word 'smurf' I've ever seen! I don't know where you picked up such language!"

Jaye is here. Waiting for Aeryn. With props. And a revised script.

Parker's wearing a black toque with femme fatale veil, and she's tapping her foot waiting for the emo person who dumped Rory to show up.

She has a hat for him.

Rory did her best to focus on all the presentations.

If she was suddenly very absorbed in her desk when Parker and Anakin did theirs, well, that's how things work sometimes.

"I learned it from him," Archie said quickly. "Is it really such a horrible word? It doesn't seem like something used to describe tiny, happy blue creatures could be that obscene."

"Tiny, happy blue creatures?" Tick asked.

"They're a cartoon, sir." Cameron quickly cut in. "We'll be using the cartoon to demonstrate our theory. The Smurfs are these blue tiny creatures who live in mushrooms and who are usually very happy and try to do good.."
