Advanced Criminal Justice, Class 24, Period 1, 04.06.06

[OOC: Projects can be presented as late as Tuesday, so take some time and have some fun if you want. Don't forget to wear hats for EC. If you'd like, the shop can probably generate a hat for you. And what follows is probably the shortest main body to a class post I've ever written. Class Info Post.]

"Welcome to the Danger Shop, class! Today are your presentations. When it's your turn, please get up, present your theory, and do whatever it is you're going to do with the shop! I can't wait to see what everyone came up with!"

Jaye is having fun with this. So she wipes a hand in front of her smiling face, and when she's visible again, her expression is blank. This is what we call getting into character.

"I am the terror that flaps in the night. I am the duck of evil! Mwahahahahahahaha," she recites.

Look, she was really sleep-deprived.

Aeryn watches her, still glaring, and then picks up her script. And glares at it. And in a complete monotone, reads, "I am the bunny of justice, thwarting all evildoers. Oh, look, there is the duck of evil. I should thwart it. I'm not frelling doing this."

"Don't break character!" Jaye admonishes.

She clears her throat. "I will not be thwarted, you violent skank! Quack, omg," she says, taking about ten huge steps back, out of killination range. "Watch me do horrible things like litter, and hunt bunnies out of season."

She drops a crumpled up ball of paper to the floor. See, she even has props.

Aeryn counts out drama as a possible career choice, as she's thinking with enough force she can stab Jaye in the throat with the headband.

"But it's duck season," she monotones. "Can I shoot you now?"

She pushes the felt ear out of her eye. There's glitter on her forehead now.

"No," answers Jaye, now struggling to get back to the script to make the line work. "Yes, it is in fact duck season. That's why this is illegal and horrible. You are not a very smart bunny, are you?"

"At least I'm not the duck," Aeryn retorts. And pushes the ear out of her face.

"Yeah, yeah, I am prettier than you. Let me talk this hunter into shooting you, hereby adding an accomplice to my crimes!"

Aeryn folds her arms over her chest and sets her jaw, and isn't saying a word.

Jaye waits for her cue.

Aeryn's not saying a word. Bitch can stand there and wait for her cue all she likes.

Jaye hisses, "The line is, 'You fowl evildoer='"

Aeryn makes a gesture, which, while it may not be well-known on this planet, certainly gets the point across.

"You're ruining my skit!" Jaye whispers.

Aeryn nods.

And throws her script onto the ground.

Then pushes the ear out of her face.

"Let's just skip to the big finish," says Jaye. Because Aeryn sucks.

"Blah blah, the bunny's dumb, blah blah, the duck rules, and then we get to the part where I stop narrating because Princess Folder Helmet over here can't help a girl out, and..."

She pulls her own glitter headband out from her back pocket. And puts it on her own head. "I'm the bunny."

"You are not! I have the damn glitter to prove it!" She can see a speck of it on her eyelash. It's annoying.

Jaye takes off her bill. Ooh, yay, fresh air. Wow.

"Good thing it isn't duck season," recites Jaye.

"Can I play the hunter now?"

"Eh. What's up, duck?"

Aeryn stares at her. "I'm not taking off the ears- Did I just say that?"

"You have glitter on your nose."

"You talk to your purse."

"Here's where the hunter would usually shoot the real duck, being you, in the face," says Jaye happily. "And your duck bill would go like this..."

She moves to put the duck bill backwards on Aeryn's head.

"I will rip off your arms."

Jaye likes her arms.

She'll just hold the duck bill up in Aeryn's general direction. "And thusly, the real duck, operating under the guise of being the hero, or something, I never really figured out that part of the metaphor, is brought to justice, and the day is saved. And, scene!"

She bows.
