"So, uh. It's real, real hot out," Magnus said. Magnus was wearing swim shorts and some pauldrons. Because of course he was.

"And none of you are suitably attired for adventuring." Whereas, obviously she could take on the world with the handful of undergarments she still possessed and her agiels.

"Weapons! We mean weapons," Magnus said, showing off his axe. "Which'll help you decide what class you are."

"Nothing ends an adventuring party faster than its members not playing to their strengths." Cara, you were a dual wielding DPS under the mistaken impression you were a tank.

"So reach into this magic barrel that I found and get your weapon!"

This could only end with some tetanus.

Look, kids. It was much too hot for your teachers to come up with a better plan. Also Magnus was there.

Eleanor then made a rather lewd gesture with two hands that resembled...

"Foooorking. For whatever forking reason I can't forking curse here. Anyway, can't I just insult someone to death if I'm going to fight someone? I'm much better at that."

Let's face it Magnus. Vicious mockery is the best spell ever.

"Oh! Boning! Cool cool cool."

Thanks for clearing that up for him.

"That's a Bard thing. You wanna be a Bard?" He was judging you harshly for that, Eleanor. It would probably suit her pretty well, to be honest. It was just that Magnus' main experience with Bards involved HR.

Give her a break Magnus. Eleanor was never going her own truth and motivate people until after she died.

"Only bard I've had experience with set a forking tart on fire the other day," Eleanor said with a shrug. "But hey if I get to insult people? I'm game."

However if you throw a dragon in her path, Eleanor will more likely try to run away than try and seduce it.

"Okay, we got a Bard and a Monk. That's the most healing I've ever had in any party I've been in."

SEDUCING MONSTERS IS A TROPE! NOT A RULE!

However it's Eleanor, so basically that might happen anyway.

"Healing? I have to heal people? Ugh. Fine. If I have to."

Sorry Magnus, Eleanor may be following the Merle Highchurch method of healing. Which is rarely.

DAMN IT, ELEANOR. DON'T BE A MERLE.

"It's part of the job!"

Wait. Unless you wanted a sick new plant arm. Did you want a sick new plant arm?

No plant arm for Eleanor. But she will attempt to cast spells well beyond her level, thank you very much.

"Am I getting paid to heal?"

That might change things.

"Well, you get paid in the loots." Always in the loots.

"I'm assuming that's actual 'loot' and nothing weird. Sounds good. I'm in," she said adjusting her suit. "What does a bard do anyway?"

Other than set fire to pear tarts.

"I mean, the only one I know is Brad and he's a major tool." That wasn't a class trait, that was a Brad trait. "Like. You can inspire people and stuff. Oh, there's that hideous laughter spell that Taako cast one time on some mannequins."

"Well I have known to inspire many many people."

Mostly to do bad things.

"And I don't know how tacos can cast spells but I'm down with it. Tacos are the best."

"He is pretty great," Magnus said, committed to the fiction that tacos did not exist in his world.
