Well, Anakin's clothing options had shrunk considerably overnight, which was why he was dressed like a hipster rather than a Jedi.

At least he wasn't boiling in the robe because it was easily 100 degrees outside with humidity to match.

"Today we're combining the fun of a color run with the other fun of a tough mudder," Anakin announced into the megaphone from under his hat.

Your idea of fun might vary considerably!

"Working in teams, you will complete obstacles located around the island, and when you're finished each one, Beaker will dump dye on you."

Beaker, currently an unnatural shade of teal, meeped in what he incorrectly thought was a supportive way.

"First team across the finish line and into the water wins. Listen for your names. There are three teams of five."

What?

She wasn't going waist deep in the stuff if she didn't have to.

Well, Douchey Hat Guy hadn't said they couldn't do that.

"It's not cheating if they didn't say not to do it," Steve decided.

"I'll take it!"

It wasn't going to save her from the mud next obstacle but, hey, she'd still take it.

"You do this thing before?"

"Oh, yeah," Steve said. "The dye is new but I love doing tough mudder courses."

"I think you're the first person I've met who loves 'em," Iris laughed. "Though I ain't no stranger to 'em myself."

It was why she was going to cheat.

"Well, I'm a Navy SEAL," Steve said. "Compare to BUD/S training, tough mudder is nothing."

"He didn't say we couldn't cheat," said Rey, even though she wasn't going to cheat herself. "I've climbed sand dunes?"

"He didn't," she agreed. "I'm totally going to cheat my way across the first path."

Iris was going to be so annoyed at the next obstacle. She had way, way too much hair for that to be anything but horrifically disastrous.

"Sand and mud shouldn't be too dissimilar, right?"

"More slippery here. I think it's just adjusting for it," Rey shrugged.

She had not actually really dealt with mud before?

"Not cheating is usually implied. But he says no powers, sometimes," Stark pointed out. "He didn't this time. Not cheating then."
