Today the shenanigans were inside the Danger Room because even Anakin couldn't source enough strawberry Jello powder to make a dent on the water surrounding the island.

The ~~unwilling victims~~ people showing up would find themselves looking down onto a huge rec room decorated for a child's birthday, complete with streamers, balloons, and a massive pinata (easily the size of a chair) swinging from the ceiling.

And the floor was entirely covered in red liquidy-goo..stuff...because Anakin wasn't actually going to cover everything in lava.

"Welcome to the Floor is Lava!" Anakin's voice boomed out to the audience. "...my son Christopher helped this week. You will work in teams of three to get from one end of the room to the other without falling into the extremely realistic lava...stuff. The fastest team will win a lava lamp but there are prizes for all! Listen for your names. Oh, and no powers, please."

Or sit around and eat fruit gummies, popcorn, cupcake, and goldfish crackers because Christopher had assisted with snacks, too.

"I think flying?" Steve replied, squinting at the room around them. "Maybe being able to just think yourself at the exit or something."

"Meep meep meep meep mee!" Beaker said, looking panicked.

Steve gave him a speculative look. "But I don't think using our combined strength to hurl this guy at the exit would be against the rules--"

Beaker, if possible, looked even more alarmed.

"MUPPET TOSS!" Magnus was down with anyone being thrown. At all times. Always.

"MEEP MEEP MEEP MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE" Beaker said.

Too bad no one understood him.

"Think you can rip one of those curtains from the wall?" Steve asked. "We can use it as a slingshot."

"Lemme just try a quick strength check..." Magnus said, tugging on that curtain in a way that the set was very clearly not meant to accommodate. Hence the curtain ripping free. "I'm a very strong boy."

Also, they were ruining the set.

Eh, they were the last team through.

"I can see that," Steve agreed while Beaker wondered if he should just jump into the lava now and save everyone some trouble.

Was that why Anakin made them last?

"Okay, so if we bounce him off that rocking horse, I think it'll work." Steve, please save Beaker from turning into a pool ball.

Steve would not!

"Yeah, it's too weird an angle to get from here to there unless we bank off the pinata and that's risky," Steve agreed.
