The Library is Open (04/06)

Rory staggered in and opened the library during second period, nursing her second cup of coffee and looking very much the worse for wear.

[Goin' up early like whoa so I can sleep in and not worry about it. Rory'll be available for interaction around 1 EST.]

Rory's staring at the ceiling and trying to count the paint flecks.

She lost count after fifteen.

Cally wanders in, a little sweaty from her 4th period class. She wanders up to Rory and chews her lower lip a little.

"We have many really specified books," Rory said, raising an eyebrow. "What kind of specifications are we talking?"

She glances around the room and lowers her voice. "I... I need to find detailed plans for an outboard motor," she says. "Like, how it works, how it goes together, that sort of thing." She looks around again. "But don't tell anybody, okay?"

"...okay," Rory said slowly. She rolled her chair over to the computer, punched a few keys, and scribbled down a number.

"Okay, you'll find that stuff over in the 640's," she said, pointing and handing Cally the scrap of paper. "If you need help, just come scurrying back, okay?"
