Even if he tried, Prompto wouldn't have been able to wipe the grin off his face as he made he came striding up to the park with his best Zora prince buddy at his side because, sure, he'd told Nina that he was going to try to make it to a few of these Summer Shenanigans, but he didn't think she'd expect him to be pulling it off so soon. And the fact that he was able to get in touch with Sidon and drag him with him, too, just made it even better. He missed his big giant shark prince, dammit! This was going to be such a great day!

Prompto was definitely expecting that. He had thought about finding Nina and surprising her that way, but, no. No way. This was way more fun waiting for that moment when she probably had to do a double-take after wondering who that cute guy with the awesome hair over there was.

That was how he pictured it happening, and he was sticking to it, dammit!

"Oh, hey, Nina," he said, totes casual, although he did start chuckling a little as he hugged her back. "What's up?"
