Ethics, Wednesday, September 11, 2019 [1st period]

Anakin was at the front of the room with a huge, empty bowl in front of him. There were equally empty bowls in front of all of the students.

"Because I'm not all terrible," Anakin began with a tiny smile, "I've brought chocolate pudding for everyone. My bowl, of course, is too big for me to finish, so if you need more after you're done with the portion in front of you, feel free to come up and get some more. If you are lactose intolerant or allergic to chocolate, I have other options, too."

Of nothing. Because there was literally nothing in the bowls, kids. "Feel free to share with each other, too!"

Was there an ethical lesson here today? Of course. Anakin was just...testing to see how you all reacted.

And the spark of amusement that Tisarwat worked into her smile did well to hide the disappointment she felt that the Dean hadn't asked any further on what she was waiting for. She had a whole thing planned out! But, at the same time, the less you had to give away, the better.

So she was all brightness and eagerness and maybe a touch of flightiness as she said, "Thank you. I know it'll be worth it."

"I can't think of anything I enjoy more," Tisarwat said pleasantly, managing not to laugh, no matter how much she'd wanted to.
