Anakin was at the front of the room with a huge, empty bowl in front of him. There were equally empty bowls in front of all of the students.

"Because I'm not all terrible," Anakin began with a tiny smile, "I've brought chocolate pudding for everyone. My bowl, of course, is too big for me to finish, so if you need more after you're done with the portion in front of you, feel free to come up and get some more. If you are lactose intolerant or allergic to chocolate, I have other options, too."

Of nothing. Because there was literally nothing in the bowls, kids. "Feel free to share with each other, too!"

Was there an ethical lesson here today? Of course. Anakin was just...testing to see how you all reacted.

Right, so...lecture.

Talk to each other! Maybe someone really does have something in their bowl? Maybe Anakin has something in his bowl? Maybe it's just invisible space pudding? Maybe Anakin has lost his ever-loving mind?

And if he really does think there's pudding here, what do you do now? Indulge him? Confront him? Pull a Congress and collectively ignore it?

Delirium was wearing a big swishy cloak over her eyeblinding pirate outfit today. The effect didn't really work but that wasn't going to stop her from entering the classroom in a series of spins to try to make it billow and swish!

Which left her sort of wobbly and giggling with the dizziness when she reached her desk and plunked down in the seat.

She looked at the empty bowl and smiled because yay, invisible puddings were the best! But.. there was a problem.

"Hey!" she piped up, "You didn't give us any spoons!"

Jules looked at her own bowl. Glanced sideways at those of her classmates. Peered at Anakin’s.

And then, slowly, raised her hand to ask the question that was foremost on her mind.

Nearly everything about this world was strange and unusual to Tisarwat, so, blinking into an empty bowl, she really didn't know what to think. For all she knew, this really did pass as pudding on this odd little planet, but she was also thinking perhaps the Dean was merely trying to pull one on the class.

Hardly as dire of an ethical dilemma as, say, granting mercy to a defiant planet or destroying it. Tisarwat looked up, sending her lilac eyes around to her classmate to guage what they were doing before deciding on her own approach.

"You don't need a spoon to eat pudding," Anakin declared.

"Everyone eats pudding at 8 am!" Anakin declared loudly. And he was married to Rory Gilmore, so that might not even have been for effect. "Pudding is an any time food!"

She peered suspiciously around the room looking for gas lamps. His statement sounded very much like gaslamping.

There...was nothing in any of their bowls. Not even invisible pudding, unless it was also invisible to the Force.

"Is your pudding somewhere else?" she asked.

Lana waited; if Jules was going to ask the obvious, she was curious what answer she might get.

Lana caught her gaze and just shrugged. Nope, this wasn't normal to her, either.

And catching Lana's confirmation that at least Tisarwat wasn't alone in thinking this was weird, the corner of her mouth twitched up a little with an idea.

If the whole point was to just lean in, Tisarwat could lean with the best of them. So she just kept hold her bowl, expression pleasantly blank as she waited. No need to start leaning anywhere until she had to.
