[sith_happened]

Given the terrible, pounding headache of a bad feeling that this location was giving Anakin, he almost cancelled the shenanigans for the week. But then he decided that if people were really looking for a distraction, he should provide it.

Today's shenanigans were being held in the school auditoriam--Anakin would grant townies temporary access to the school building in order to keep the students from wandering further from the dorms than absolutely necessary--and seemed to be revolving around several thousand ballpit balls in the center of the auditorium.

And laundry baskets.

And scooters.

"Welcome to Sentient Lifeform Hungry Hungry Hippos!" Anakin yelled through his megaphone. "Everyone will be divided into four teams. You will then pair up into beings on their stomach holding the laundry baskets and people pushing them by their legs. Every team will cycle through all of their players. The team with the most balls at the end wins! Come pick up your t-shirts!"

Because of course there were t-shirts.

Fjord didn't know it yet, but he'd someday be very accomplished at gathering balls.

"Presumably it's harder than it looks." Lana was also dubious. And not above cheating with the Force.

Which would suit them just fine, this round, wouldn't it?

"Can't be that fuckin' hard. Grab the balls, take a break, swap off, grab more balls." He shrugged. "And if we lose, we're just not winners. Ain't like there's prizes for this shit."

... That was for the best, Fjord.

"I don't plan on losing," Lana said firmly. "Right, come on." She settled herself and picked up the basket.

Fjord shrugged, and then reached for her ankles.

"Well, then let's show 'em how it's done."

How it was done was by half-closing her eyes, then scooping balls towards them with the Force as Lana lowered the basket. What? It hadn't been forbidden.
