Given the terrible, pounding headache of a bad feeling that this location was giving Anakin, he almost cancelled the shenanigans for the week. But then he decided that if people were really looking for a distraction, he should provide it.

Today's shenanigans were being held in the school auditoriam--Anakin would grant townies temporary access to the school building in order to keep the students from wandering further from the dorms than absolutely necessary--and seemed to be revolving around several thousand ballpit balls in the center of the auditorium.

And laundry baskets.

And scooters.

"Welcome to Sentient Lifeform Hungry Hungry Hippos!" Anakin yelled through his megaphone. "Everyone will be divided into four teams. You will then pair up into beings on their stomach holding the laundry baskets and people pushing them by their legs. Every team will cycle through all of their players. The team with the most balls at the end wins! Come pick up your t-shirts!"

Because of course there were t-shirts.

And the final result is TEAM URINE victorious, followed by TEAM SALMON, TEAM OLIVE and then TEAM BURNT UMBER!

"All right, we've almost got this," Ben cheered. "C'mon, Amaya, let's go!"

Amaya nodded, grinned faintly, and took a moment to roll up her (already rolled up) sleeves and adjust her gloves before getting good and settled on the scooter as best she could, basket on the ready, with a careful look around to their competition. She nodded. "Alright, Ben!" she cheered back. "Let's get those balls!"

Ben snickered because he was still twelve. "Yes, ma'am," he said, grabbing her low on the calves for greater steering ability or something, and started to run towards the pile of balls.

And Amaya, for all she would claim she wasn't into silly games like this, let out a small sort of battle cry as they went rushing forward, lifting her basket on the ready before bam! Down it went, with a little scoop that she hoped would end up netting them more balls.

...she couldn't help wondering if maybe, just maybe, this was a bit like what the Crumbler might feel like...

When she put it in that context, it didn't seem all that silly at all, and left her just pretty much out there for blood.

Err, well, balls, anyway.

"Good!" Ben yelled. "Back we go!"

Liam had taken the opportunity between rounds to go grab his jacket and rummage through the pockets for the pair of gloves he kept in there usually.

"I think we're doing okay overall," Liam commented, glancing back at everyone's respective piles of balls. "So we just have to keep it up, I guess." There... wasn't a lot of strategy involved in this game.

"We've got this... in hand," Okuyasu said, lying down and grinning. "Just give it your best, and I'll do mine."

"And now it's my turn behind the wheels!" said Summer with a laugh that was borne mostly out of relief that she was piloting someone like Hera rather than...you know...Sidon.

"Right." Hera held her lekku out of the way as she settled on the platform thing. "We can do this."

"Alright!!!!!!!!!!! Let's see if we can do better than we did before!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

They weren't going to, but hey, at least she wasn't on the scooter this time!

"No pressure!" Sabine agreed, getting onto the scooter and quickly deciding, "Its weird from here."
