"Good morning!" Anakin blared through the microphone. "An essential skill of a camper is the ability to feed yourself over a campfire--BEAKER, GET AWAY FROM THE CAMPFIRES."

There was slightly charred sounding apologetic meeping as Beaker moved away from one of the two campfires that had been carefully set up in the park. There were rickety looking folding tables arranged nearby the fires with cutting boards, knives, bowls, and other ~~moddable~~ kitchen items nearby. There was, however, no power. Everything would have to be chopped and grated and opened from a can by hand.

"Today, you will be paired up and asked to feature one of two different sets of menu items," Anakin continued. "And then you will present them to our esteemed panel of judges: Summer, Hannibal, Peebee, and Vette." He pointed to the judges. "Your meal must be cooked over the campfire. We have an array of other ingredients--" he pointed to a pantry and set of mini fridges that Beaker was now standing near, so expect that to spontaneously fall over any minute now, "--for you to use to supplement your original ingredients, but you must use the three ingredients we give you." He took a deep breath. "Please don't give the judges food poisoning, and remember that presentation matters. Listen for your names!"

"Well we kind of luck out that all our featured ingredients can be roasted over the fire," Okuyasu said, not wanting to think about campfire-roasted tuna. Luckily, not a thing he'd have to do. "We don't have to do anything fancy, either. Hot dogs with a roasted tomato relish and s'mores are basic but classic, you know?"

"Truuuue, and that actually would be good," she said thoughtfully, "but it wouldn't, like, be impressive if that's all we did????????????? I feel like we should try harder...................."

"Oh, true," Okuyasu said, and he started thinking about what Tonio would do in this situation.

Sadly, The Hand wouldn't be anywhere as useful as Pearl Jam in this situation.

"We should look at the other ingredients, then. See if we can't figure out a way to spice things up. You can put a lot of things on a hot dog or a s'more."

"Do you think, like, we could make a chili????????????" Nina said, considering that. "Like, hot dogs aren't usually what goes in chili, but there's no reason they couldn't, right? And that would get the tomatoes in there too…………….."

Okuyasu nodded, though he looked a little unsure, but only because of his own preferences. "If we make it spicy I won't really be able to taste-test it, though," he said. "But I think that's a good idea."

"I know," she said sympathetically, "spicy food isn't my preference either, past a certain point. But, like, for a fact I know that Vette over there adores it. We'll get great marks if we make it spicy for her!!!!!!!!!!!"

Okuyasu stepped over to the pantry and fridges and came back with both their required ingredients, chili powder, sea salt, beans, and your standard s'more fixings.

"I think we might be set," he said. "Hey, big sis, we just might have this!"

She beamed at him.

"Of course we do," Nina said, happily, reaching to take a few of those things from her brother. "Like, they were such fools for putting us together!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

It was great! So great!

"An unbeatable duo," Okuyasu said with a grin. "I'm going to start roasting our things."

Hot Dog Chili and sea salt s'mores. Not a bad idea, really.
