With the dinosaurs out and about, Anakin decided that getting students eaten was not a great idea if he couldn't specify which ones, plus liability and the school board and the paperwork, so everyone was shoved inside of the community center instead.

"Today we're pretending like it's raining and cold!" Anakin declared through the megaphone which was super unnecessary inside. Sorry, everyone's ears. "We have several stations of craft projects and games, many of which will make reappearances later this summer so get good at them."

Especially the macramé. Just sayin'.

"Today is about learning and not competing, for once, so take your time, meet the other people on the island, and make a better loincloth for Tino or something." Anakin shuddered. Radio had been scarring, though not as scarring as being in Caritas, apparently.

"...and go!"

The megaphone, predictablY, shrieked horribly as he turned it off.

The snacks, and having absolutely nothing to do with the macrame if he could at all avoid it.

Jack showed up and snagged some snacks, taking a moment to collect a handful of dried pasta elbows to toss at the back of Kanan's head as she passed.

She loved him, really.

Kanan didn't so much as turn around. But he did chuckle a little as the pasta slowed to a stop just shy of the back of his head and floated there for a moment.

"Almost," he called after her.

Jack grinned at the back of his head. "Floor's lava, ickle," she reminded him, strolling on her way, "Don't drop any of it."

There was a pause of a few moments. And then he just kind if squinted after her.

"I'm not going to be heartbroken if the macaroni falls into the lava!"

... What.

"You lose points if it falls into the lava," Jack chirped merrily back at him.

And that was Kanan, turning around and flicking macaroni noodles at Jack from thin air, one at a time.

There went Jack, grinning and turning to swat them back at him. One of them hit her hand wrong and popped straight up in the air. She hot-potatoed it for a moment and then tossed it in her mouth with a crunch.
