BWI Airport Portalocity Lounge, Saturday morning [05/04].

"What the ever-loving fuck is a Portalocity Lounge?"

Apparently, it was precisely the place where Wayne was standing, squared shoulders, thumbs in his belt loops, frowning up at the softest, most sparkliest banner he had ever seen...and he'd een to at least a baker's dozen of Dary's traditional soft birthday parties, so he knew a soft fucking banner when he saw one.

"That," he stated, to no one in particular, especially since he seemed to be the first one there (if you're not five minutes early, you're five minutes late, bud), "is fucking 10-ply."

But it was what it was. No going back now, ain't no reason to get excited, he supposed. Pitter-patter. So he turned his head sharply to one side of the lounge, eyed the chairs against the wall, and went to have a seat, one hand on his knee, tohe other around the smallest cup of coffee he could get, and settled in to wait.

Billy snickered and held his hand out. "Nice to meet you, Shuri. So how come you're going to this place?"

"I asked my brother," Shuri said with a little smile. "I haven't gotten a chance to travel and he's been everywhere."

"You wanted to travel, so you just asked him and he sent you here?" Billy asked, not quite sure he'd heard that right. "Uh . . . wow."

"I have no idea," Billy admitted, still blinking a bit rapidly. "I don't exactly have any previous experience with royalty to compare it with, but -- whoa. Am I supposed to --"

He made a flaily sort of attempt at the beginnings of a bow, but like he had no idea where his arms were supposed to go.

"Just as long as I haven't committed some horrible offense."

He didn't want to have to explain accidentally causing an interdimensional international incident. Talk about awkward.

"That's a relief," Billy said, and he looked like he genuinely meant it. He laughed a little bit, sheepishly. "Well, this is sure going to be an interesting summer."
