"What the ever-loving fuck is a Portalocity Lounge?"

Apparently, it was precisely the place where Wayne was standing, squared shoulders, thumbs in his belt loops, frowning up at the softest, most sparkliest banner he had ever seen...and he'd een to at least a baker's dozen of Dary's traditional soft birthday parties, so he knew a soft fucking banner when he saw one.

"That," he stated, to no one in particular, especially since he seemed to be the first one there (if you're not five minutes early, you're five minutes late, bud), "is fucking 10-ply."

But it was what it was. No going back now, ain't no reason to get excited, he supposed. Pitter-patter. So he turned his head sharply to one side of the lounge, eyed the chairs against the wall, and went to have a seat, one hand on his knee, tohe other around the smallest cup of coffee he could get, and settled in to wait.

Okuyasu was a sight - his modified school uniform had a prominent gold Cifrão on the chest, and the word 'Billion' written in white on both arms (though one was in kanji). That was aside from his black pompadour and the grey hair on the sides of his head, and the prominent curved scars on his face.

"So this is where we wait to go to that famous and not suspicious school, huh?" he said, totally suave.

Wayne was trying his best, he really was, to be polite and not pass too many judgements while scoping out the other students, but, fuck every duck, this guy right here was what you'd get with the dictionary definition of 'spare parts,' wasn't he?

"Not sure about famous," he said, since he hadn't even heard of it before a week or so ago, "or not suspicious, either, but if you're talking about Fandom High, I'd think the sparkly banner over by the entrance kind of answers that one for ya, bud."

Okuyasu paused, looked over at the banner, then laughed. "Oh yeah, that would do it, huh?" He waved a hand in excited greeting. "Ohayo, I am Okuyasu Nijimura. We're going to be going to the same school as of today."

And didn't that just make him want to stand right up and see when the next flight back to Toronto was?

"Wayne," he offered back. "And I guess there's no arguing that."

"No arguing that your name is Wayne? I'd hope not," Okuyasu joked, laughing. He totally thought that was funny. "I just hope this place isn't as exciting as my last school."

It wasn't the school that was so bad, really. Just all the other things that happened during the school year.

Well, of course now Wayne had to ask, "What was so excitin' about your last school?"

...even if he kind of didn't want to.

"Oh, just got in a few fights with some of the other kids," Okuyasu said. "Usually made friends with them afterward, though. But it was a lot of fights."

And there was the whole serial killer thing, but again, that wasn't the school's fault.

"S'not really a good fight," said Wayne, who was actually a little pleasantly surprised at that answer, since he was always down for a good donnybrook, and he was now seeing Okuyasu in a bit of a new light, "unless you can shake a man's hand and go have a beer afterwards, really."

Shame they probably wouldn't have time for a scrap right now. He could probably go for a good scrap right now. Be interesting, seeing what a guy like this had up his sleeve as far as technique went...
