Fandom High Welcome Picnic, Front Lawn of the School, All Day: Part II

The lawn was arranged with tables and chairs - some near the food, some not - and there was plenty of food to go around. The school had even wised up and put to-go boxes by the plates, so people didn't have to put food in their pockets to take it with them for later. No one was gonna judge you for making some pocket bacon, but at least now it wasn't a necessity.

[OCD is up! This is the picnic post for general mingling. Roommates, fake siblings and teachers are all here. Since it's outside, the picnic is open to all students, teachers, and townies!]

"Absolutely nothing," Sabine answered. "It was pretty quiet. Felt like most of the town cleared out."

"Boring?" Lana guessed.

"So boring," she confirmed, and shrugged. "I kept busy. How was your trip?"

"Interesting," Lana said. "The zora were nice enough, and I spent some time helping with artifacts. We got to go through a dangerous castle, and meet an avian species. The world itself was lovely."

"That definitely doesn't sound boring," Sabine said approvingly. "And of course you ended up helping with something you could probably learn from."

"The best kind of vacation," Lana agreed.

"Not planning on it," Lana said, grinning back. "Tell me you wouldn't prefer a vacation where you could shoot things. Or blow them up. Or paint. Or...paint things and then blow them up."

"Or blow them up with paint," Sabine smirked, and shrugged. "That's a fun one."

"Explosive pigments?" That sounded really useful. And like something Lana should keep an eye out for. "Do they burn in different colours, too?"

"Different ingredients will burn in different colors, but I haven't been able to combine the effect with paint in a way that doesn't take away from either one yet," Sabine admitted. "I'm working on it."

"When I get it working the way I want it, I'll be sure to call you over," Sabine told her.
