Nadia came in and, spotting Victor, grabbed a few Hem Sundveeches and went to go eat quickly and quietly in the other corner. She still needed to talk to him, but had no desire to become another soap opera for the chef.

Even if he did make pretty good food.

Victor was too busy talking with Blair to notice Nadia, which may have been a good thing ~~because the mun is totally picturing the Chef with popcorn and yelling at them like one would a tv screen~~.

~~well, considering how many of us dumped out his food yesterday, I'm just glad he isn't all emo going "vhy dues noobedy leek my-a fuud?"~~

~~Poor emo!Chef. I can just see him dressing all in black and listening to angst songs while he bakes heart-shaped cookies, only to break them in half before he serves them because "Life is pain." :p~~

Which would only make him more sad. . . .

And then his lover would wonder why he's so reserved lately and why all the changes, and he'd lash out, claiming she doesn't understand him, and run off crying.

But then gain, how easy is it to understand someone who's married to a chicken, woes about a KFC being built back home, and then proceeds to serve chicken three times a week?

Anders, as usual, had a tray piled with some of everything, and headed over to sit with Nadia when he spotted her eating alone.

"Hey. Mind a little company?"

Nadia looked up, relieved to see someone she was pretty sure had no reason to be angry with her, and smiled. "Of course not," she said, gesturing to a seat.

"Cool." Anders gave her a cheerful smile, sat down, and immediately drained an entire glass of milk before starting in on his food. "You're . . . frak, I know I've seen you around a bunch of times and I'm totally blanking on your name."

He hit himself in the forehead a few times with the heel of his hand, which, go figure, apparently worked. "Nadia. Right?"

"Yes. And you're . . ." All she could think of was "Cally's boyfriend". Which lead her to "Callynanders", which lead her to "Lee?"

Anders? Did a pretty spectacular spittake. In the opposite direction of Nadia, luckily. "Oh Lords, no," he blurted out. "That's Adama, he's ~~way shorter than me, OMG~~ totally different guy who I haven't even seen in forever, now that I think about it, and . . ."

He flailed for a second and calmed himself down. "Sorry. Hi. Anders."

Nadia was blushing furiously. Those A names, they were just so hard to keep straight. "Sorry. It's nice to meet you, Anders."

"You too. For real this time." He grinned sheepishly. "I think there was a whole gremlin thing, the last time. So anyway, what's goin' on?"

"Um, not much, I guess." Not that he'd need to worry about anyway. "Just classes and stuff. You?"

"About the same. I was talkin' to Pippi and Pip last night about having a pool party, maybe." He munched thoughtfully on a bite of salmon. "Just so everybody gets a chance to kick back a bit, y'know?"

"That's right, Pippi mentioned that this morning. I think it's a great idea. As long as there's no giant squid."

Anders considered this. "I'm pretty sure there isn't one any more. Last few times people hung out down there, everybody came back in, you know, one piece. You'd be up for something like that, then? Coooooooooool."
