Fandom High Welcome Picnic, Front Lawn of the School, All Day: Part I
Everyone had been keeping a close eye on the weather, and gave a sigh of relief as it turned out to be a pretty decent day. Sure, it was still a little warm, but it wasn't humid, or raining something strange. You had to take your wins where you could get them around here.
As usual, there was a buffet of food awaiting the folks on the welcome shuttle, and blue and gold tables and chairs were set up across the lawn, most still covered in glitter from the last picnic. Sorrynot! Happy picnic day!
[OCD is up! This is part one of the picnic, specifically for meeting siblings, roommates, and teachers. The rest of the picnic is happening here. Since it's outside, the picnic is open to all students, teachers, and townies!]

Re: Meet Your Teachers! [Fall 2018]
Did he have to go throw down with some blue-collar megafauna?
Re: Meet Your Teachers! [Fall 2018]
"Most likely," she said, "though it ain't so much the moose that decided as it were the island and then the moose just had to put it into action. I got your nametag here and your class synopsis. You and your co-teacher are gonna have to figure out your exact syllabus though."
Re: Meet Your Teachers! [Fall 2018]
Seriously, this was all kind of above his head. It wasn't that he wasn't smart enough to follow - he was actually decently intelligent, if maybe not the wisest guy around. But there was a lot going on here, and he was still wrapping his head around a sky with a single moon.
"Okay... better let me have 'em, then."

It promptly got stuck to his fingers.
...
"How to make friends and influence people," he read, trying idly to shake the nametag from where it was stuck under one of his claws. "With... Pastor Carter. A holy man?"
Re: Meet Your Teachers! [Fall 2018]
"That's what they tell me," Ino said, spreading her hands as she shrugged. "I ain't all caught up on the intricacies of different religions, but yeah, he's a holy man of some kind."
Re: Meet Your Teachers! [Fall 2018]
Fjord wrinkled his nose, less because of the class, and more because the nametag was not cooperating. He tried to free his fingers of it by wiping it off onto his paperwork, which mostly just resulted in paperwork that was wearing a nametag.
... Right.
"I don't suppose you'd know how to locate this Pastor, would you?"
Re: Meet Your Teachers! [Fall 2018]
"He ought to be wearing all black, with a green scarf thing," she said helpfully. "And brownish blond hair. Probably looking terribly confused."
Re: Meet Your Teachers! [Fall 2018]
Nope. Now he was tearing the paper. He sighed. There, the nametag could stay.
"I'll admit to being mighty confused, myself."

Re: Meet Your Teachers! [Fall 2018]
Not that he was in the market for any of those things. But the assist? Yeah. He'd take all the help he could get.
Re: Meet Your Teachers! [Fall 2018]
"Just remember, you've got this," Ino said cheerfully.
Re: Meet Your Teachers! [Fall 2018]
"I suppose if nothing else, there's no harm in trying..."
