Camp Shenanigans [Wednesday, July 11, 2018]

Today the bleachers were back, but instead of tables full of terrifying craft supplies, there was a single table full of white shirts in a variety of Fandomite-appropriate sizes and a giant "Start" sign over the path into town.

"Welcome to Fandom's very first color run!" Anakin said, smiling a little evilly. "I have created a five kilometer or so run through the island, interspersed with fun--" if you were Anakin and not participating, for instance, "--activities to complete at various stops. Please put on your white shirt and get ready to run. The person in third place wins the fish. So there. Stop trying to not get it. You're all hurting its feelings that it probably has by now. Don't make this thing gain sentience and try to kill us all."

With that cheery thought, Anakin started the race: "And go."

It's a happy ending! You're back! You're tired, you're dyed weird colors, and you have to climb a thirty foot slide to come down into the park and then get hit with a barrage of rainbow-colored dye, but you're finished!

It had been good exercise, although she could have done without the ice bath and the colours. The shower was going to need a cleaning after this. Breq wiped her face, not that it made much of a change.

Seivarden was, like everyone else, covered in dye, and quite obviously pissed off. She could deal with having to have a shower, she was going to toss the t-shirt anyway, at least her pants were black, but the gloves? They looked like something a teenager would wear in painting class.

"Where the fuck am I going to get new ones?!" She really hoped Brooke would be able to help there.

The slide, at least, was kind of fun.

The barrage of rainbow dye?

He was definitely going to have to buy new pants after this.

And here Zack was, back at the easy stuff again. He could live with that. He climbed up the slide, and then came right back down the other side, and held open his arms in victory only to get hit with dye again.

"Pthoo."

Next time, he'd close his mouth.
