Summer Games: Wednesday, The Park [morning]

"Good morning!" Anakin yelled into the megaphone from the small platform he had erected in the park. "Students, please listen for your names and find your partner or partners as your name is called: Sidon and Aloy; Jason and Rey; Bobby and Paris; Ahsoka and Uma; Theron and Peridot; Astrid and Norman; Tip, Sabine and Beaker."

Once the students were in place, Anakin held up a sheaf of paper in his hand. "Today, with the help of the proprietors in town, we're conducting a Scavenger Hunt. You have a very long list: You must find 15 of the items from that list and either take a picture or video of yourselves completing the tasks. Whoever completes their 15 in the shortest amount of time will win the coveted, terrifying, singing fish," he said, holding his hand out for it to fly to him. It was still shrieking Sabotage as it flew, but now it also rained confetti on anyone close enough to be in its flight path. As Anakin held it, it treated the entire group to holographic footage of Theron being chased by a Roomba.

You're welcome, Theron.

"Right," Anakin said slowly. "Someone come take this thing from me as quickly as possible. On your marks, get set, go."

Furnado was open, Zack was in, and there was a big playpen in the front room that was full of all kinds of puppies! Try not to get too distracted playing with them to continue on to the rest of the hunt, folks!

And who would walk in but one of Funnado's very own, Prince Sidon, with his partner in tow?

"Greetings, Zack!" he announced with every bit of gusto as one might imagine. "Do not mind us! Aloy and I are just here to obtain a photo of some squishy puppy toes!"

But pardon him for just a moment as he went to say hello to all the animals and to offer them assurances. "Do not fret, my small friends! Do not be confused. It is indeed still Wednesday, not Thursday, and I am here but on a quest. I shall only be here shortly, but I shall return to see you again tomorrow as usual!"

...none of them seemed to care very much. Except maybe the cats who kept trying to eat him, eager to get in an extra nibble this week.

Zack laughed and gave Sidon a thumbs-up.

"The puppies will be happy for the playmate until you have to head off," he shared. "And the kittens, and the birds, and the fish..."

He watched, slightly bemused, as Sidon made the rounds.

"Is he usually like this?" Aloy asked Zack, her arms crossed as she observed... a lot of animals she didn't know. "And which ones are the puppies?"

"Constantly," Zack replied, smiling a little wryly even as he pointed to the playpen full of pups in the middle of the room. "And those ones are the puppies. You can probably get one to roll over for a tummy rub and get a picture of its feet that way."
