Most of interior of the classroom has been cleared of furniture. What remains has been stacked at the front of the class, along with a selection of things like packing crates, pilates balls, stepladders, that sort of thing.

Autolycus grinned like a maniac. "Today, kids, you're going to work together to create an installation."

And even that only dimmed her for about, oh, 15 seconds.

"I know! It's terrible." Parker nodded solemnly, and then the smile broke free again. "Good thing I'm not an accursed soul-possessing vampire, hunh? I can be like this and freak you out and be happy and it's Friday, Angel and Angela! Yay!"

Parker glee'd at Angel, grinned at Angela, then nearly skipped over to grab a laptop to start looking for Rock Lobster.

Rory wandered over with a pilates ball in her hands.

"Are you high?" she asked seriously.

"No!" Parker actually looked offended there. Briefly. "I can't be happy? I can't just be gleeful about something that doesn't include thwarting or outsmarting someone?"

She grinned. "Damn. Missed the memo." She pulled up B-52's on the laptop, then spun in place again. "Oo! We should have the Pilates balls suspended? And have them release at different moments! And I'm being loud, aren't I?"

"What are you gleeful about? And yes, loud. Which is why I went for under the influence," Rory said wryly.

Parker somehow got the volume on herself under control, and restrained a squeee!. She took a breath and grinned wickedly at Rory. "I'm Amy."

"I TOLD YOU, OH MY GOD," Rory said, perhaps a bit loudly. She lowered her voice. "Um. I mean...how do you know?"

"Phone conversation last night. I finally--" She shrugged, looking down. "Sucked it up, and told him, and, and, I'm Amy, I'm not Jo, and I can't stop smiling, it's like a disease. Or a disorder. God, I just--"

Parker laughed breathlessly, then spun in place again, just for the hell of it.

"Told him what?" Rory asked puzzledly.

"That I love him as more than a friend. It just got to the point where I had to say it, no matter what he was going to say." Parker shook her head wonderingly, looking amazed. "And he loves me back. Can you believe it?"

Rory beamed. "I can. And yes, the glee is normal. Love'll do that. Well. Love by itself can make you feel like you're walking on air, and you weigh about as much as cotton candy. Knowing someone else cares about you in the same way? That right there is the greatest feeling in the world. Or," she corrected, "in this world, and I suspect any other as well."

"I'm going to be really, really embarassed tomorrow, I suspect. Today? Can't care." Parker beamed back at Rory. "I keep wanting to sing. It's bad. It's very bad." She laughed. "And you did tell me so, and any other day, I'd be annoyed. Now I'm just too buzzed to even register it."

Rory cocked her head at Parker.

"You've never been in love before, have you?"

Parker looked away, biting her lip. "No?" she laughed again, rolling her eyes as she looked back at Rory. "Yes, this is-- new. And so weird."

"It's daunting, yeah," Rory agreed. "And different for everyone, I think. I know it scared me really, really bad the first time." She tilted her head. "And the second time, too, for that matter."

Angel? More than happy to ignore all of this as he drew sketches of the artwork to be.

"It is scary, but it was a hundred times worse when I thought it was just me." Parker shook her head. "I was getting ready to just get over it, or try to, and then, this." Bright, bright smile. "He loves me."

"I know," Rory said with a smile. "I'm happy for you. That's the best feeling ever."

"I almost, almost feel sorry for all the times I teased you about Logan. Or anyone else." Parker grinned. "Almost."

"Yeah, don't feel bad about Logan. That...wasn't like this."

Whether she was referring to her own relationship at the moment, or Parker and Jarod, or both? Wasn't exactly clear.

"Everyone should get to feel like this. At least once." She twirled. "God, I hope the urge to dance goes away. This could get ridiculous."

"And see, I think what you have is better than anything I've had before. Since Jarod is your absolute match. Nothing's ever worked out for me," Rory said, her smile faltering a little bit.

Parker is not about to get into all the problems that this relationship has facing it-- starting with the 14-month-deadline she's facing, because after Graduation, she and Jarod are in even more trouble than Callisto and Angel. But she does calm down enough to stop twirling, and actually look at Rory. "Rory? Is something... wrong? I mean. Aren't you still happy that someone just got back?"

"No, I'm fine," Rory said, waving her off. "Just remembering that even if people come back, they do eventually have to leave again. But seriously. You and Jarod. When are you seeing him again?"

Parker's far too buzzed to follow up on that, but she's going to remember it for later. Probably.

"Tomorrow, I think. He works the desk at the Sin tonight. Although maybe I'll call him." She spun in place three times. "I keep thinking maybe I dreamed that conversation, then I look at the book, and it's real. I didn't-- I didn't even start hoping until yesterday, and now...." Parker laughed breathlessly. "I don't know what to do with myself. God. No wonder people are asking if I'm on something."

"Yeah, it's very...un-you. I mean, it is, but I have never seen you this happy. At least," Rory amended, "not without a whole lot of exhaustion and accomplishment mixed in."
