Fandom High Welcome Picnic, Front Lawn of the School, All Day: Part II

The weather was lovely, the newbies had survived their shuttle, and yes, all the holes in the lawn from graduation had been filled and covered with new grass so everything looked normal and pretty. Well, pretty, at least.

[OCD is up! This is the picnic post for general mingling. Roommates, fake siblings and teachers are all here. Since it's outside, the picnic is open to all students, teachers, and townies!]

Sabine had already met one person from back home on the bus ride, but she hadn't thought she'd find more. And yet, there was a Togruta here. So Sabine just watched her for a bit, just curious, trying not to be obvious about it.

"Nice picnic you've got here," Sabine replied. Which was weak and she knew it, but she hadn't thought she'd get caught looking.

Well, Jedi, kinda. Plus she'd spent enough time around people with helmets to figure out when she was being looked at through one.

"This place does a lot of them," she said. "I'm Ahsoka."

Sabine really, really didn't think she'd be introducing herself this much today, but here she was. "Sabine. Wait, how much is a lot of picnics?"

She had limits.

Not that she was staying.

Ahsoka noticed but didn't comment on Sabine not mentioning a house or clan.

"Closer to a few times a semester than weekly."

"About two years," Ahsoka said." "I'm leaving at the end of the summer." And had not idea what she'd do when she did.
