Fandom High Welcome Picnic, Front Lawn of the School, All Day: Part I

The weather had turned out absolutely lovely for today's picnic, through no interference of dark magic (as far as anyone knew). The bonfire had been scrapped for the season, replaced with more blue and gold chairs and tables for people to sit at. The usual buffet was out, and this time there were plates and to-go containers, because really, no one should have to resort to the unsanitary measure of pocket food in the 21st century.

Happy picnic day, everyone!

And, yup, that was fair. Amaya couldn't even be mad; she sort of stomped right into that one.

But maybe she just might accidentally miss a squirrel or two that happened to try to intercept him.

Not that it would be an issue. The coast was crystal clear, considering there was no reason for anyone to stop them from getting food, like, at all. This was so much more fun, though.

And Magnus rolled back over to her, plates held up high to keep them off the grass. Literally rolled like he was trying to be stealthy without, you know, actually rolling for stealth.

And Amaya decided she could probably stand here and watch Magnus go fetch food all day. That was the most entertainment she'd had all week.

Amaya...really needed to get out more.

"Huzzah!" she declared, as would be proper for such a daring victory, freeing at least one of Magnus's hands by taking a plate and offering a hand to help him back to his feet. "Well done, sir; truly, a harrowing caper. And now we feast!"

"Next time we should cause a diversion," he suggested.
