Fandom High Graduation Ceremony, Class of 2018, Early Saturday Evening [Part 1]
As soon as the sun was down, everything was ready for the graduation ceremony to begin. The lawn of the school had been lit up with blue and gold lights, which reflected nicely off of the glitter scattered throughout the lawn. Yes, glitter was going to get all over everything, sorry.
There were chairs set up for all of the graduates, and plenty of seats for guests to come and watch. The weather was beautiful, cooling off after the hot, sunny day, and everything seemed quiet, calm, and normal. You know, for now.
Congratulations, Class of 2018! You made it to the end!

Ahsoka Tano
Re: Ahsoka Tano
Yes, but you wouldn't know it to look at her.
Re: Ahsoka Tano
He was applauding extra loudly for her regardless. Maybe more out of sympathy than pride. Maybe with a bit of a pang in his chest that he was hell-bent on ignoring. They might have been robbed of their respective ceremonies in different ways, but all the same...
Hey, congrats for making it to this one, Ahsoka?

Re: Ahsoka Tano
She wasn't sure quite what to do, but she was paying enough attention to applaud while everyone else was while she was standing on her chair.
And to holler a "Commendations and praises on your achievement!"
Learning was still a work in progress.

And he was a damn fine music shop employee besides.
So of course Jonothon was clapping a little extra loudly for Dante as he went up and took the diploma. He'd earned it.

Plus the Emperor hadn't come for her graduation. That was its own achievement.

Summer Smith
Re: Summer Smith
In her head, Summer had planned to get her diploma, turn to the crowd while holding it up, and say something like "Yeah, that's right, bitches!" or "Boo-yah! Summer OUT!", but when she was actually up there in the moment, she somehow got a little flustered and just sort of took the diploma with a nervous chuckle and a "Thanks!", waved it at the audience a little with a stupid, proud-of-herself grin, and hurried off the stage.
Hey. The very much normal teenager doing a normal teenager thing and being a little embarrassed about how much she was digging it had to come out sometimes, and when it came out, there wasn't much room for grandstanding.
