Library, Wednesday

Peridot had been planning on bringing her notes in from Jenkins' class today in order to go through the library to research some of the terminology he'd used during whatever spare time she had.

As the day progressed, it became fairly clear that Peridot wasn't going to have spare time. A few of the books had taken to running down the aisles, and then a few more, and before Peridot could rein in the first few runners it had spiralled out of control into a whole book stampede.

She might have gotten trampled.

It wasn't pretty.

[OOC: Open! Mind the books!]

That fidget definitely took some of the murderous rage out of Summer. "Well, she wasn't wrong about that," she said with a faint smile. "You are a good friend. You're one of my best friends. But she was totally wrong in thinking that I would want to do radio. But at least I'm finding out now instead of in the morning when they bust into my room to drag me down there or whatever and scare the crap out of poor Shiemi."

Shiemi was now certifiably a delicate flower who must be protected at all costs after Monday. Especially against squirrels, which she'd always felt were pretty creepy.

With good reason thanks, new canon!.

Summer sighed, pinching the bridge of her nose, as if to fend off the blossoming headache she felt stalking her in the distance.

"Ohmygod," Summer groaned, "like, I bet they're just, like, totally..." But she didn't know, and she couldn't help wondering if maybe the robot really might have been convincing if Peridot hadn't noticed. The whole idea was a rabbit hole she wasn't ready to tumble down. "I almost kind of want to look them up, but then another part of me is like, that is a road you can't turn back on. Ignorance is, like, so totally bliss."
