Angela gets to the library early (for her) and (mostly) refreshed.

Of course, the enormous coffee she's carrying might help explain why she seems refreshed.

She's brought in some donuts from Jeff, God of Biscuits to share with the other aides, and maybe any friends who might stop by. She hopes she'll get to talk to the new librarian some more as well.

The library is open for all your bookish needs.

She is dunking a powdered sugar donut into her coffee and watching it disintegrate.

Work? Is that why she's here?

Okay. She's sorting through the magazines and tossing ones that are too old or too wrecked to keep on display. For some reason, Popular Mechanics keeps disappearing.

Angela is in art class. Could someone else help you?

She's back! And dancing around behind the counter to a mix of 80's music on her iPod.

Yogurt, a coke, and another donut. Yum.

The library is closed so the aides can eat in peace.

She's flipping through travel guides. Paris is pretty....

Okay, it has to be time to go home now. Right? Right?

...yeah, there might be some clockwatching going on.

In a final burst of energy, Angela has wiped down the counters and tables, tossed the empty box of donuts, straightened the counter, and generally prepared the library for the next morning.

Cameron enters the library and blinks as he watches Angela dance. "Disco?" So he's off by a decade.

Angela smiled sheepishly. "Duran Duran. I was just in a random good mood," she said.

Then, inspecting Cam, "What are you wearing? I thought you were Cam, but that's more a Crichton outfit."

He chuckled. "Beats disco anyway."

Then, shrugged. "Crichton's running around in a cowboy outfit. This," he said as he motioned to the costume, "is the superhero costume Parker came up with."

"Crichton is a cowboy and you're a superhero," Angela repeated, rolling her eyes a little. "Did I miss the memo when they moved Halloween?"

"But it's not bad, for a superhero outfit. No dumb cape, anyhow. Did Parker give you powers, too?"

"I don't know what's up with Crichton, he says it's not a bet but he's just being really weird." Cameron shook his head. "And no, no powers. I think I'm fine with that, though. I've got no need for detachable limbs. Flying might be cool."

"I think I would take invisibility," Angela said thoughtfully. "Though superstrength would be pretty cool. Throw bad guys around, all of that."

"Yeah, I can think of a few times where that would have come in handy at this school. You're a bit at a disadvantage being human around here," he said.

"Seriously," Angela said. "Especially if you're human and don't know how to use guns and stuff."

She shuddered. "It's so weird that I want combat training to make it through high school."

"It's definitely not your standard high school," Cameron agreed. "I can get that. Have you considered joining gun club or self-defence?"

"Gun club is kind of Marty's thing. He took me to the range way back in September, but...." Angela's next words were mumbled out of extreme embarassment. "Isortofshothim."

"So I haven't really wanted to try it, since. I want to go to the self-defense club, but I keep forgetting when it meets. Are you in that?"

"You shot him?" He really shouldn't find this funny, but Marty seemed to be alright.

"No, I've got enough clubs I'm in that I keep not going to. I'm in self-defense class, but most of the stuff I know, I've actually picked up from Aeryn."

"It was just a graze!" Angela said, defensive. Then she started giggling herself. "At least it's a good story, right?"

"How's Aeryn as a teacher? I don't really know her that well."

Johnny saunters into the library. Yes, saunters. And yes, he might've picked up a huge belt buckle (http://www.truecowboy.com/images/beltbuckle2.jpg) since this morning.

"Howdy ma'am." And Johnny tips his hat.

"Howdy," Angela said. "Cam warned me you guys had decided to stage your own private Halloween in March. Nice cowboy hat."

"Ain't it though?" Johnny grins. "Finest material a hat can be made of. My pride an' joy, it is. This ain't no Halloween costume, missy. Just me bein' me."

Cameron laughed. "It's a great story and it makes for a good threat too."

He tilted his head, looking a bit weary about the subject. "Aeryn's great. She's taught me a lot, I don't know if she's up to teaching lately, though. You'd have to ask her."

Angela stared at John for a moment. A long moment. She tried to decide whether this was a joke or whether Professor Skeeter had run out of animals and decided to turn Crichton into one of the Village People.

"...Okay?" she said, finally.
