Janet's yawning as she opens up the library today. Maybe she can just sit in one place and check in books for a few hours.

Rory wandered in, waving at her friends and taking a seat quietly.

Then blinked. "Oh my god, we were just talking about hair," she said. "Yours is so cute that length."

"Thanks," Rory said with a grin, toying with the ends. "I don't miss it yet. Yet being the key word."

"It's good on you," Angela said. "Did you go to that place in town, or what?"

"Did it myself," Rory replied a touch proudly. "I'll probably get someone to even out the ends later on."

Angela inspected Rory's hair. "You're good," she said. "Seriously, you could be professional. It's kind of too bad you're going to Watcher School. Or Harvard. Either way."

She scratched her nose. "I wonder if they have hair-cutting classes at Harvard?"

"I'm going to major in it," Rory said solemnly.

"Yeah, Peter was really excited when I talked to him," Rory said casually.

Jaye walks in, torn between being irritated and being smug. She settles for smug. "You slept with Bridgey on the radio!" she greets her, grinning.
