Library, Friday
Yesterday had been disturbing. That was all Lucille was going to say on the matter, and she was going to support any research done into what was happening.
The library was open, and even though drinks were generally forbidden here, tea was being offered.

Talk to Lucille
Re: Talk to Lucille
Then he had returned, and he was currently picking through the stacks, still trying to separate old from new.

Re: Talk to Lucille
Even seeing Lucille at the library could not ease his concern, and the smile he had for her was wan. But then, passing by the principal's tower, he'd had a sense of something massive and evil, like an ancient evil rising up from the depths.
He'd run the rest of the way here and even now, his breathing wasn't quite even. He was trying to tell himself it was because he was out of shape, rather than the fear still thrumming through his veins.

"Can I offer you a cup of tea?"
Re: Talk to Lucille
"Please," he said gratefully. "It rarely gets this cold in the City of Elua." Or, at least, it wasn't the kind of cold that felt like it was wrapping around your very bones.
Re: Talk to Lucille
She poured a cup of tea for Hyacinthe. "I am used to the cold myself, but not to whatever else is happening."
Even if the decay wasn't too unfamiliar, not that she would admit that.

Especially after running into Kathy.
Re: Talk to Lucille
"Were there any to buy?" Hyacinthe asked. Maybe with a little more hope than he ought to have been showing.
Re: Talk to Lucille
"No," Lucille said with a sigh. "They were all too covered with mold."
Re: Talk to Lucille
"How did this all happen?" he asked. "It takes longer than a day to go bad."
Re: Talk to Lucille
She had been hungry but she had never starved, not even in the asylum.
Re: Talk to Lucille
"Well, that's why we're here, no?" he asked, smiling down at her to try to absolve some of her worry. "To make sure it doesn't get to that point. We'll not starve, chavi. We're far too pretty for that."

"I'm mostly providing tea."
