Yesterday had been disturbing. That was all Lucille was going to say on the matter, and she was going to support any research done into what was happening.

The library was open, and even though drinks were generally forbidden here, tea was being offered.

Obi-Wan had not gone very far from this library, beyond to make a quick exploratory round of their new circumstances.

Then he had returned, and he was currently picking through the stacks, still trying to separate old from new.

Hyacinthe's nightmares had been increasingly disturbed since the fog had rolled in and his attempts to use the dromonde felt stifled. The only reason he was here today was because he'd gotten a clear vision of something important here today and he was for anything that could help end this.

Even seeing Lucille at the library could not ease his concern, and the smile he had for her was wan. But then, passing by the principal's tower, he'd had a sense of something massive and evil, like an ancient evil rising up from the depths.

He'd run the rest of the way here and even now, his breathing wasn't quite even. He was trying to tell himself it was because he was out of shape, rather than the fear still thrumming through his veins.

Ahsoka was distracted this morning as she leafed through various books, in addition to the still-present buzzing sensation, she'd had...disturbing dreams last night. And not the kind she was used to.

"Hyacinthe," Lucille greeted him. "It is good to see you here."

Obi-Wan had a great deal of tea by now. He also had a large stack of notes.

"Please," Obi-Wan said, with a wry but affable smile. "If you would be so kind."

"I would say the same, but I believe I'd rather see you somewhere safer," Hya said, brushing his dark curls out of his eyes. "This place is a guttering candle in the darkness, and I would you away from it all."

"What is this?" Hyacinthe asked, flipping through a book made of blank pages where clippings and pictures had been attached. "Is this about the island?"

It seemed to be! Records of invasions past, with several pages circled in red.

"I think someone may wish to see this," he called, holding the book in the air.

Obi-Wan rubbed at his tired eyes and looked towards her. "Yes?" he said. "What is it?"

"Someone drew what I think is an Iron Man?" she said, turning it to show him the drawing, which had been hastily scribbled, with lightning bolts around it. "'Lightning storm almost made him fall?'"

"One of yesterday's finds detailed how 'the one who keeps us bound here' has ties to a creature like this," Obi-Wan said thoughtfully. "Perhaps it is vulnerable to lightning... though I doubt we will see many such weather events here."

Obi-Wan got up out of his seat and crossed the library until he was at Hyacinthe's side. "What have you found?"

"It is sweet of you to care." It was, even if Lucille felt she could take care of herself.

"Can I offer you a cup of tea?"

Lucille poured a cup and offered it to Obi-Wan. "Milk and sugar? I assume you are here to try and find some clue to these strange events."

"Master Kenobi?" Even if he hadn't ended up in charge Ahsoka would've approached Obi-Wan. "I found something."

She rubbed her left montral. "I think."

"Only milk, please," Obi-Wan said lightly. "And I am. I suppose it is the least I can do."

"What did you find?" Obi-Wan said, sitting up.

There were large stacks of folders piling up in front of him, and at least one of them looked slept on.

Ahsoka held up a medallion, one glittery enough even a Hutt might find it overdone.

"It had a note about Cecil still liking shiny things," she said. "And something about tentacles."
