Books fell from the shelves today. When put back they fell again. By now Lucille was used to their antics and suspected that they would eventually return to their places, and decided this was a good excuse to spend her shift reading.

Khadgar had the good sense to look a little guilty, and he quietly nodded as he backed away from the desk. Then, he turned around and disappeared towards the books, grinning harder. If he got bitten, he'd try very hard to be quiet, but he was more likely to just keep digging into the books anyway.

At least he hadn't been too annoying, and he seemed to get the concept of being quiet and leaving her alone. Lucille returned to reading her book.
