Library, Sunday
Face wasn't sure exactly why he found being over Endor so hilarious, but he couldn't keep himself from bursting into snickers at random moments.
He'd also managed to dig a few relevant books out of the stacks. Deep out of the stacks.

Talk to Face
Re: Talk to Face
(She had not been avoiding anyone. Shut up.) "Garik?"
Re: Talk to Face
"Cass."
Re: Talk to Face
Re: Talk to Face
his player's other characterssome other people, Face's vague memories of the weekend had left him optimistic rather than unsettled or repressing. "I've had worse."Re: Talk to Face
Cassandra's weekend had not been terrible, if mildly confusing. She was still awkward.
She fiddled a bit more. "I. Did as we talked about. Some time ago."
Re: Talk to Face
Well, at least she hadn't been kicked off the island. Obviously.

Re: Talk to Face
Re: Talk to Face
Because the mun's current crop of characters were all a bunch of stubborn assholes who CANNOT LET ANYTHING GO why do they hate me."I... am sorry I have not spoken to you. In some time."
Unless you counted the weekend.
Re: Talk to Face
Re: Talk to Face
For what, she wasn't sure, this time.
"I... can I make it up to you? I do not want us to waste these last few months-- being silent."
Re: Talk to Face
Re: Talk to Face
"I suppose it was," she said, subdued. "And I am uncertain how to... bridge whatever divide is between us because of it."
Re: Talk to Face
Re: Talk to Face
Now that she wasn't worked up and inclined to actually try to shout him into submission, at least.
"So," she said, hating the way her voice went thin and fragile, "I suppose the question remains is whether you feel this terrible enough to cease our-- association-- over."
Groping for words wasn't fun at all.
Re: Talk to Face
Re: Talk to Face
"Then... what should I do...?" she said.
There had to be something, surely.
Re: Talk to Face
At least he was referring to a 'we'?
Re: Talk to Face
She let out a ragged sigh. "Yes," she said. The 'we' was encouraging, yes, but little more than that. "I agree that we cannot pretend that it did not happen. That would be... unfair, I suppose."
Maker, she was terrible at this.
"We disagree," she said, haltingly. "I believe on this topic we will always disagree." Somewhere, it stung knowing that he was unwilling to trust her on it. But it hadn't stung enough that she'd wanted to be angry at him in some permanent fashion. "Is that something you can live with?"
Re: Talk to Face
"I'd like to think I can, I guess we'll find out." They were teenagers, emotional maturity was the exception, not the norm. "Can you?"
Re: Talk to Face
She was silent for a long moment. "I would like to," she said. "Yes."

She was trying to step on her nervousness. Maker.
Re: Talk to Face
"Thursday sounds good."
Re: Talk to Face
The effect was somewhat ruined by the involuntary sigh of relief that followed.
"I will see you then," she said, and turned and
bravely ran away, awaywalked towards the door.OOC
