Wednesday 3/15, Library is Open

Zero opened up the library, as usual, and settled in behind the desk to be available for all the student body's libraryish needs. Which frequently seemed to consist of gossiping and bringing the aides pastry, but hey, she wasn't complaining.

Angela roamed into the library and picked a slightly-stale muffin out of the assortment Marty had brought in the day before. "Hey, Zero. Anything exciting happen yet today?"

"Cam was attacked by cleaning supplies. He took refuge in here. What d'you think about this dress?

Angela blinked, then remembered Zordon's announcement. "Oh, the evil sanitizing janitor's closets?" she asked. "Weird. Did they hurt him?"

She looked over Zero's shoulder at the dress. "Cute. It looks like something my friend Rayanne back home would wear with fishnets and Converse sneakers."

"Mm." Zero made a note to dig her fuschia fishnets out from under the spare bed. "I think he's all right. Just a bit bleached."

"I hope his clothes aren't ruined, anyhow," Angela said, making a mental note to steer far, far away from the janitor's closets for the rest of the day. "Are you shopping for yourself, or just looking?"

Angela grinned. "Peter?"

She did not say, you guys are so cute, but she was thinking it.

"No, some guy I met in jail--yes, Peter." Zero grinned at her. "I swear, this place is full of romance junkies."

"Teenage girls, duh," Angela said, still grinning. "He came in here Monday to check on you. I totally don't want to make you guys self-conscious, but I'm really, really happy for you."

"What are you doing on the date?"

Zero rolled her eyes affectionately. "'M glad we have your approval...oh, y'know, dinner and a movie. Nice, old-fashioned date."

"I know, you did it just to make us happy, right?" Angela said. "Sounds good. Have fun."

She got a nostalgic smile on her face, and then - "Crap, I think my six-month anniversary with Marty is tomorrow. Unless the time we were broken up doesn't count. Which it probably doesn't."

"Everybody?" Angela looked interested. "Because I had no idea, seriously."

Zero looked perplexed. "Really? I thought it was obvious."

Angela shook her head. "I guess from the outside, maybe it looked like that? But I really thought we had screwed things up too much. And then we couldn't talk, and..." she sighed. "I'm glad we got past that."

[OOC: The writers didn't know they were getting back together until about a week out, seriously.]

"It helps that we're all stuck here together. I mean, the only way you could really have gotten away from him is for one of you to flat-out leave."

((I didn't know either. But Zero always had faith!))

"True," Angela said. "And the island would be a bad place to have an ex, you'd see each other every five minutes. Though Rory and Logan seem to be okay with it."
