Fandom High Graduation Ceremony, Class of 2016, Early Saturday Evening [Part 1]

Right after sunset, to make sure all types of guests could safely attend, the ceremony for graduation was ready to go. The lawn of the school had been lit up with blue and gold lights, which reflected nicely off of the glitter scattered throughout the lawn.

Look, this was one of the last chances to get the students covered in glitter. They might miss Fandom too much without this annoyingly sparkly reminder!

There were chairs set up for all of the graduates, and plenty of seats for guests to come and watch. Hopefully, Fandom's current floaty conditions wouldn't weird anyone out, and as for anything else that might happen during the ceremony... well, the administration was hoping that Fandom had had enough weirdness for a little while, and things would go off without a hitch.

Congratulations, Class of 2016! Today is your day!

Four nodded. "As I'm going to be," he said. "The last graduation ceremony I attended involved a ceremonial knife and bloodletting, so this should be much easier, right?"

Alana wasn't so sure about that.

"This had dragons last year," she reminded him. "And ... gnomes or trolls or something the year before, I think."

Four shook his head. "This place. I'm almost looking forward to home where the weirdest thing to happen will be a temporary blackout."

"And a little ceremonial bloodletting," Alana reminded him. "But does that mean you're heading out right away?"

Four nodded. "Yeah, I have to be back in time for the ceremonial bloodletting. I'm in charge of training the new recruits."

One which will look a lot like Alana, weirdly...

Funny how look-alikes popped up like that.

"Good luck," Alana told him. It didn't sound like her kind of gig, but she wasn't judging. "Hope you don't get stuck with any brats. I'm hanging out here for the summer."
