Parker is hungover, unhappy, and really not glad to be back from break.

"Well, her dad's English, so she's, like, half a citizen?" Angela guessed. "I think they only have to make bail. But ask Parker, she's the one who got the message."

"And I am not smirking. I had, um, a cramp in my lip."

"I've been beaten up, my room is pink, and Zero's in jail across the ocean. Please just call it a smirk, say 'I just think it's cute' or whatever, and stop it before the desk has a Peter-shaped dent in it," Peter whined.

Angela stared at Peter for a second. "I just think it's cute. Sorry. Please don't wreck the desk, or whatever."

Peter sighed, annoyed with himself. "I'm sorry. It's been a rough 48 hours but I really didn't mean to snap at you."

"Unless you painted my room pink. Then you'd have to face my full wrath."

Angela shook her head. "Nope. I have an alibi, even, I think -- I was in England until Wednesday, and back home in Pittsburgh Thursday and Friday nights. Do you know when they did it?"

"But I'm sorry you're stuck with a pink room,. Mine got trashed while I was home. Maybe somebody got really bored over break."

"All I know is that it was sometime between Wednesday afternoon and last night," Peter said, shaking his head.

"Sorry to hear about your room, though. People need to find more constructive ways to pass the time."

"Seriously," Angela agreed. "If you ever find out who did yours, let me know, 'cause I'm really curious what happened to mine. Not angry, exactly, but curious."

She scratched her head. "Hey, should we report this to Dean Zordon, or something?"

"If it was just my room, I'd say no because, really, pink room, who cares?" Peter shrugged. "Besides me. But with yours being trashed, we probably should."

"Probably," Angela agreed. "Which sucks. I hate getting people in trouble, even if they deserve it."

"John and Lee said something on the radio about teddy bears wrecking mine, but I think they were just smoking crack again. Unless we've been invaded by evil toys."

"Teddy bears? That sounds unbelievable, even for Fandom," Peter said, skeptically.

"Oh! Wait, John was pretending to be Skeeter this week, wasn't he? And I missed it!"

"He was!" Angela confirmed. "It was hysterical. The Web site might still have the MP3, if they archive them at all."

She lowered her voice. "I was talking to Chloe Sullivan last night? And the way she described Professor Skeeter turnign John into animals, it almost sounds like she has a crush on him, or something. And vice versa."

"Oh, I will definitely have to check for the podcast," Peter said, his mood brightening a bit.

Peter then lowered his voice while trying not to snicker. "I've talked to John about Skeeter a bunch of times and he loves to torment her, but I doubt it's actually out of love. Yet, at least. I can't speak for her, though."

Angela folded her arms. "Maybe it's like in third grade. You know, boys tease girls because they liiiiiiike them, and vice versa. Though the idea of her and him together is kind of icky, since she's all old and married."

"I'm not saying that it isn't possible, just that I don't see it from his end. Which isn't to say that petty annoyance can't turn into more," Peter said.
