"Hey, guys," Brian said cheerfully at the beginning of today's class. "Great news! You're almost done with introductions week. Just one more go, probably, unless you have another class today, and we can really get going. So I'm Brian O'Conner, and I'm your teacher for the semester. And it's known that I generally prefer cars, but sometimes you can't use a car. So let's go around the class, tell me your name, your year, and what you'd like to learn to drive this semester. How's that sound?"

"I am Thorin and I have previously taken your class. Though this time, I would like to learn how to flip a car in the air and then have it explode." Yes, he watched action movies recently. Why do you ask?

"Okay, this class isn't really about cars," Brian hedged. "...but we'll see if we can squeeze it in." It would be fun!
