"Since I didn't hear about any babies being eaten or used to test gravity from the top of the dorms, I'm assuming that you all did better than some of my classes on this assignment," Anakin began.

"Though some of you have also been rather neglectful of your children," Obi-Wan said. Looking at no one in particular. Really.

Anakin also wasn't looking at anyone. Fascinating ceiling this classroom had, truly. "If this is your first time in Fandom, trust me that this experience will come in handy."

"If it is not, you're already aware of it," Obi-Wan said blandly. He slid his hands into his sleeves. "As you turn in your children, we would like to hear about your experiences, and what you may have learned."

Anakin's gaze kept drifting to Isabela. He had a low-level bad feeling about this, for some reason...

Isabela could have been a spirit of Innocence as she said "I learnt that the world is a harsh, cruel, and judgemental place for an unwed mother and her bastard."

"Very true," Anakin agreed. "My mother had a difficult time with me as well."

Awww, Isabela and Anakin could bond over their lack of father figures.

Isabela crossed her arms and shrugged. "Yeah, well, people are shits, but you bloody a few noses of the other kind of bastard they learn to hold their tongues."

Anakin smirked. "I might have done that once or twice," he admitted. "I didn't grow up in the nicest neighborhood before the Temple."

Careful, Anakin, you might start to seem interesting. "It matters less in Rivain than other places." Like Antiva. "But it...stands out if you can't at least point to a father."

And Mr. "Created by the Force or Something" looked a little shifty. "Yeah, that's the same on Tatooine."

Supernatural interference was more impressive than 'anonymous hook-up that didn't even last the whole night'. "People are bastards all over, big shock there."

"I, for one, am appalled," Anakin deadpanned.

"I learned that you'll get a lot of lectures on your age and how you don't really know what you want yet if you start calling around to find a doctor who will tie your tubes," Gwen said. "So I'm going to have to learn how to do it myself."

"...please don't tie your own tubes," Anakin said.

"It's the only way to be sure!"

Anakin made a face. "I don't want to hear about this on the radio at all EVER."
