Unlike last week, Face was not napping during his shift today. Instead he was alternatively browsing through various books from the poetry section and engaging in some very important research. Research that occasionally turned the tips of his ears pink.

Because she did not actually enjoy being cross at him and would welcome any excuse to stop being it.

Cassandra sighed loudly, wished briefly for a dagger she could deposit in the desk, then spun around and stalked out of the library.
